Actress gives fans a glimpse of husband Saif Ali Khan relaxing at the family palace days before her birthday
MUMBAI— Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan on Saturday gave her fans a glimpse of her peaceful morning at the Pataudi Palace, sharing a photograph featuring her husband and actor Saif Ali Khan.
Kareena posted the serene picture on social media, showing Saif seated at a round table on the expansive veranda of the palace.
Dressed in a white kurta, Saif appears relaxed as he sits quietly at the table. Kareena kept the caption simple, writing: “Morning View.”
The photograph comes just days before Kareena’s 46th birthday and offers a glimpse into a quieter moment away from the spotlight.
The actress is currently receiving attention for her latest film, Daayra, which released in theatres on September 18. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the crime thriller also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and is inspired by true events. The film follows two police officers who find themselves on opposing sides of a controversial case.
Kareena recently spoke about the impact motherhood has had on her career and acting. During a conversation with the press at the trailer launch of Daayra, she said she felt that becoming a mother had made her a better actor.
“I feel ever since I’ve become a mother, I have also become a better actor. I don’t know why,” she said.
Kareena has also spoken about how motherhood, rather than marriage, brought a significant change in her personality and outlook.
Kareena and Saif got married on October 16, 2012, after dating for several years. The couple’s relationship began to develop while they were working together on the 2007 film Tashan. Kareena has previously recalled how long motorcycle rides during the film’s shoot in Ladakh and Jaisalmer gave the two an opportunity to spend time together and strengthen their bond.
The marriage was Kareena’s first and Saif’s second. Saif was previously married to actress Amrita Singh. The couple married in 1991 and later divorced in 2004. They have two children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan.
Saif and Kareena have two sons, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan, popularly known as Jeh.
