Yash Reveals Favorite Telugu Songs, Praises Composer Devi Sri Prasad

Mumbai — Actor Yash, who is currently promoting his upcoming period gangster drama “Toxic,” has revealed some of the Telugu songs he frequently finds himself humming.

The “KGF” star said he is a fan of composer Devi Sri Prasad, popularly known as Rockstar DSP, and singled out “Dekho Dekho Gabbar Singh” and “Aakaleste Annam Pedta” among his favorites.

“I love that ‘Dekho Dekho Gabbar Singh.’ I like one more song, ‘Aakaleste Annam Pedta,’” Yash said. “All the DSP songs. He is a dear friend. All his songs I really like.”

Yash and Devi Sri Prasad are known to share a close friendship, and the actor has often publicly praised artists whose work he admires.

Yash recently also praised his “Toxic” co-star Kiara Advani, saying her performance as Nadia will leave a strong impression on audiences.

Speaking at the film’s pre-release event in Hyderabad, Yash described Advani as “an amazing actor” and “an amazing co-star.”

“She is somebody who is very simple, very pure, and a fantastic actor,” Yash said. “Whatever you have seen of Kiara till today, I think from the 26th onwards, you’re going to witness something much more than that. India will fall in love with her again and also at another level.”

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, “Toxic” also stars Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Akshay Oberoi and Sudev Nair in key roles.

The film is produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations and is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on Aug. 26.

“Toxic” was filmed simultaneously in English and Kannada and will also be released in dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. (Source: IANS)
