TiE Boston Announces TiECON East 2026: The Next Growth Playbook: Product, Market and Capital in the Age of AI

Boston’s largest entrepreneurship conference returns with a bold new focus on execution, scaling, and building durable companies in an AI-driven economy

BURLINGTON, MA — TiE Boston today announced TiECON East 2026, the region’s largest entrepreneurship conference, will take place Friday, October 2nd, 2026, at the Burlington Marriott Hotel in Burlington, Massachusetts.

This year’s conference theme, “The Next Growth Playbook: Product, Market and Capital in the Age of AI” reflects a major shift underway across industries: AI is no longer a novelty or differentiator — it is now embedded across products, workflows, and decision-making in nearly every sector. The companies that stand out today are those applying AI with judgment, creativity, discipline, and operational clarity.

TiECON East 2026 is designed as a one-day, single-track conference focused on practical execution and company building in real time. Unlike AI trend conferences which typically center on speculation, this event will focus on how successful companies are navigating product development, go-to-market execution, capital efficiency, and scaling challenges in a rapidly evolving business environment.

The conference will bring together founders, operators, investors, venture capitalists, ecosystem leaders, and professionals from sectors including software, AI, life sciences, fintech, healthcare, climate, and industrial technologies.

Expected attendees include first-time and repeat founders building toward scale, functional leaders in product and operations, investors focused on long-term execution, advisors supporting company-building ecosystems, and students exploring the next generation of industry-defining problems and representatives from TiE chapters across the globe

“AI is now embedded into company frameworks. What matters today is how corporate leaders effectively build products, deliver services, execute market entry and enhance customer trust while scaling responsibly,” said Purnanand Sarma, president of TiE Boston and CEO of Aro Biotherapeutics. “TiECON East 2026 is designed for founders, operators, investors and advisors making real decisions under pressure — what to build, how to grow, how to hire, and how to deploy capital wisely in a market that is evolving faster than ever.”

A defining feature of this year’s event is its cross-sector structure, highlighting how companies solve similar growth challenges under very different conditions — including regulated versus non-regulated industries, fast versus slow customer cycles, and capital-light versus capital-intensive business models.

“This year’s conference is intentionally designed to encourage shared learning across industries,” said Sunita Kanchinadam, president-elect of TiE Boston. “Boston’s innovation ecosystem is uniquely powerful because of its diversity of sectors and ideas. Whether they are  building in healthcare, software, climate, fintech, or life sciences, corporate leaders today are all navigating the same fundamental challenge: How to create sustainable growth while adapting to constant technological and market change.”

Conference organizers said attendees can expect candid conversations around the “messy middle” between early traction and sustainable scale, including discussions on organizational decisions, go-to-market strategies, and capital expectations that have shifted significantly since 2024 and 2025.
