On the work front, she is set to appear alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, Rakul Preet Singh, and Wamiqa Gabbi in the upcoming sequel “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do,” directed by Mudassar Aziz. The film is slated for a theatrical release on May 15.

The sequel follows the 2019 hit “Pati Patni Aur Woh,” a modern retelling of the 1978 film of the same name centered on a married couple navigating complications after the husband develops feelings for another woman.

The actress, who plays Diya in the upcoming sequel, shared glimpses from the shoot on social media, describing an atmosphere filled with laughter, dancing, and carefree energy.

“A page from Diya’s diary — We shot for Jab Talak in Sicily, Italy and it was all — random dancing between takes, loving dancing and just vibing, laughing at literally everything… and somehow still pulling it off with swag. Diya was living her best life and you’ll know why when you watch the film… and this was a lot of chaos and a lot more of dance,” she wrote.

She also praised her co-stars, adding, “Ally & Kunzee?? partners in dance and crime for real… I don’t think Diya Kunal and Ally had a single serious moment even when they had to be serious!! you guys are mad and you are my madness and I love you for it!”

Kriti Sanon ранее described the track as a feel-good experience, saying, “ ‘Jab Talak’ carries such a beautiful, feel-good vibe. Shooting for it felt like living the perfect summer with friends, filled with laughter, music, and pure masti against the stunning backdrop of Sicily. I had an absolute blast filming with Shahid and Rashmika.”

“Cocktail 2,” a sequel to the 2012 film “Cocktail,” is set for a theatrical release on June 19.

Patralekhaa says producing debut helped ease postpartum, calls herself a better mother

MUMBAI, India — Patralekhaa says stepping into production with her film “Toaster” played a key role in helping her navigate postpartum life after welcoming her daughter, Parvati.

In a recent conversation, the actress shared how staying busy with work helped her cope during a challenging phase.

Patralekhaa

“I am really happy about it. There’s something called postpartum that happens to women, not necessarily to everyone, and motherhood can feel like a black hole at times. But because of Toaster and Raj, and I am glad the universe supported me this way, I didn’t feel it as much,” she said.

She added that the experience has made her more grounded as a parent. “I feel like I am a better mother to Parvati now. So thankfully, it’s a good space to be in.”

Patralekhaa also spoke about her long-standing plans to move into production with her husband, Rajkummar Rao.

“Raj and I were waiting to venture into production for quite some time now. But then COVID happened and other things here and there. But then Toaster happened. I read it, it was funny… I have realized that comedy is a much more difficult genre to make,” she said.

“Hopefully Toaster will do that,” she added, referring to making audiences laugh.

Directed by Viveck Daschaudhary, “Toaster” stars Rajkummar Rao, Sanya Malhotra, and Archana Puran Singh, and was released on April 15.
