Ayushmann Khurrana Shares Unheard Verse of “Saadi Galli,” Says He Plans to Sing More This Year

MUMBAI — Actor and singer Ayushmann Khurrana shared a previously unheard verse from the song “Saadi Galli” on social media Monday, telling fans he plans to release more music this year.

Khurrana posted a video on Instagram of himself singing the unused verse from the track, which originally appeared in the 2013 romantic comedy “Nautanki Saala!”

In the caption accompanying the video, the “Badhaai Ho” star said he felt inspired to share the clip after seeing fans use his music in videos across social media.

“Been seeing a lot of you guys creating videos and sharing your memories with my music all over social media these past few days. It made me nostalgic as well, so I decided to share an unheard verse of Saadi Galli that didn’t make it to the original,” Khurrana wrote.

He also hinted at more musical releases ahead.

“P.S.: will sing more this year,” he added.

“Nautanki Saala!” was directed by Rohan Sippy and starred Khurrana and Kunaal Roy Kapur in the lead roles, alongside Pooja Salvi, Evelyn Sharma and Gaelyn Mendonca in supporting roles.

The film was produced by Ramesh Sippy, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Roopa de Choudhury under the banners of T-Series Films and R.S. Entertainment. It was inspired by the 2003 French comedy film “Après Vous.”

Khurrana is next set to appear in the upcoming film “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do,” alongside Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Wamiqa Gabbi.

Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film serves as a sequel to the 2019 comedy “Pati Patni Aur Woh,” which starred Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar and was itself a remake of the 1978 film of the same name.

“Pati Patni Aur Woh Do” is scheduled to release in theaters on May 15. (Source: IANS)
