Nick Jonas Shares Throwback Holi Photo With Priyanka Chopra
MUMBAI — Singer and actor Nick Jonas shared a nostalgic Holi memory with his wife Priyanka Chopra on Wednesday, posting a throwback photo from one of their earlier celebrations of the festival.
The image shows the couple covered in bright colors and gulal as they celebrate Holi together. In the photo, Priyanka Chopra, dressed in a traditional outfit, is smiling while leaning affectionately toward Jonas and hugging him from behind as he looks back at her.
“A little throwback to one of my favorite Holi memories. Happy Holi everyone!” Jonas wrote while sharing the picture on social media.
Jonas and Chopra have frequently celebrated Indian festivals together since their marriage in 2018, often sharing glimpses of the celebrations with fans.
In several interviews, Jonas has spoken about how much he enjoys Indian festivals and the cultural meaning behind them. His enthusiasm for Indian traditions and his affection for Chopra have made him especially popular among her fans in India, who often affectionately refer to him as “jiju,” a term used for a sister’s husband.
Recently, Jonas also showed his support for Chopra by praising one of her older Bollywood songs in a lighthearted social media post.
Sharing a short reel of himself enjoying a dosa at a breakfast buffet, Jonas played Chopra’s viral 2005 track “Teri Dulhan Sajaungi,” which also featured actress Bipasha Basu and appeared in the film Barsaat.
The clip included the text, “When they have dosa at the breakfast buffet,” as Jonas grooved to the song. He captioned the post simply: “This song hits.”
