CHENNAI– The makers of actor-director Dhanush’s much-anticipated action entertainer Idly Kadai on Wednesday released a soulful track titled Enjaami Thandhaane to mark the festive occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.
Dhanush himself unveiled the song on X, posting: “Enjaami Thandhaane from Idly Kadai,” along with a link to the single. Sung by Dhanush and Arivu with additional vocals by Sublahshini, the folk-inspired number has been composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar, with lyrics penned by Dhanush.
The track is an expression of gratitude, with the protagonist listing all that God has bestowed upon him while reminding others that they too have received divine blessings. Its simple, heartfelt tone is designed to resonate widely with listeners.
Idly Kadai, which wrapped filming in April with a major Bangkok schedule, is directed by Dhanush and features him alongside Nithya Menen. Arun Vijay plays the antagonist, setting the stage for a high-voltage face-off. Shalini Pandey has also been confirmed for a pivotal role.
Originally slated for an April 10 release, the film was postponed and is now scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on October 1. Produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films in association with Dawn Pictures, the film features cinematography by Kiran Koushik and music by G.V. Prakash.
With fan expectations soaring, the release of Enjaami Thandhaane has only added to the buzz surrounding the film. (Source: IANS)
