MUMBAI– Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, has released the teaser for the first song from his upcoming directorial debut, The Ba**ds of Bollywood. The track, titled Badli Si Hawa Hai, carries a youthful, upbeat energy that producers hope will resonate as a new anthem for young audiences.
Actor Lakshya takes center stage in the teaser with sharp dance moves and a commanding screen presence. The clip has already sparked buzz online, with fans praising its fresh style and catchy vibe.
Aryan, who is making his debut as creator and director of the highly anticipated series, shared the teaser on his social media accounts Friday. The project has been in the spotlight since its announcement, and excitement built further during its recent launch event — which also marked Aryan’s first public speech.
Fans were quick to note shades of Shah Rukh Khan’s trademark wit in his son’s delivery. Aryan admitted he was nervous, revealing he had rehearsed for three nights straight, before joking about keeping a handwritten backup of his speech in case of a teleprompter failure — even pulling out a torch to laughter from the audience.
The moment that drew the biggest reaction came when Aryan quipped, “Aur agar tabhi mujhse koi mistake ho jaye, to papa hai na” (“If I make a mistake, my father is there”). In a playful response, Shah Rukh turned around to reveal Aryan’s speech taped to his back, ready to step in. The exchange quickly went viral on social media, with fans calling it a heartwarming father-son moment.
The series itself boasts a star-studded cast, including Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Sehhar Bamba, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, and Gautami Kapoor, with cameo appearances by Salman Khan, Karan Johar, and Ranveer Singh. Co-created by Aryan Khan, Bilal Siddiqui, and Manav Chauhan, The Ba**ds of Bollywood is slated to premiere on September 18. (Source: IANS)
