Up ahead, the star is set to return as Ayesha Khurana in De De Pyaar De 2, opposite Ajay Devgn, with R. Madhavan joining as her on-screen dad. The film drops Nov 14, 2025.

The actress took to Instagram with throwback stills, recalling how director Vishal Bhardwaj surprised her with the role of Sweety Bhope while she was shooting Dostana in Miami. “I had wanted to work with him forever,” she said, adding that she jumped at the chance—even though the part had just eight scenes.

“He promised it would become so much more… and it did,” Priyanka wrote, calling herself “greedy to work with him.” True to his word, Bhardwaj later cast her in 7 Khoon Maaf.

Looking back, Priyanka called Kaminey a “turning point,” crediting the film for teaching her how to research and fully surrender to a role. She also praised Shahid Kapoor for his “sensational” double act and remembered the unforgettable Amol Gupte.
