Priyanka Chopra shares BTS of a rainy day from the sets of ‘The Bluff’

Mumbai– Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas experienced a full spectrum of events on the sets of her upcoming movie ‘The Bluff’.

On Thursday, the actress took to the Stories section of her Instagram, and shared a short video from the sets of the film which shows the drizzling. Priyanka says in the video: “It’s a rainy day on ‘The Bluff’. But, we don’t stop. Rain rain, go away, we want to play.”

The video shows huge blue screens with track marks mounted on the sets for VFX purposes. The actress geo-tagged the location of Gold Coast in Queensland.

Earlier, PC had shared several pictures from the sets of ‘The Bluff’ in which she was seen drenched in blood and bruises courtesy the realistic makeup and prosthetics. In one of the videos, PC asks her makeup artiste how she creates burnt hair, to which the latter responds by crushing breakfast cereals and sprinkling over her hair.

She wrote in the caption: “Bloody Fun times on #TheBluff Last week of filming! PS: fyi for the unversed, I’m on a film set and it’s all makeup. The 1800s on pirate ships were violent times! Incredible to see how every department on a film crew creates make-believe into reality. #magicofthemovies.”

The actress has wrapped up the filming for the movie and often shares the archival pictures and videos from the film’s sets.

Talking about ‘The Bluff’, the movie is a swashbuckler drama, co-written by Frank E. Flowers and Joe Ballarini with Flowers also directing. The film also stars Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Safia Oakley-Green and Vedanten Naidoo.

The film is set in the Caribbean islands during the 19th century and sees Priyanka in the role of a former pirate who must protect her family when her past catches up with her.

Amid breast cancer battle, Hina Khan pens emotional tribute for father

Mumbai– On the birth anniversary of her father, actress Hina Khan shared a heart-touching video remembering her dad, and wishing for his ‘one hug’.

Hina, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy for Stage 3 breast cancer, took to Instagram Stories, where she has 20.2 million followers, and shared a video with the tagline: “Papa I can handle every situation, but when I remember you, I am unable to control myself.”

Sharing the video, Hina wrote: “8th August… Happy birthday dad… just one hug dad, just one hug”, followed by a crying face and broken heart emojis.

Hina, who is best known for her role as Akshara in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, has been part of ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 8’, ‘Bigg Boss 11’, and ‘Bigg Boss 14’.

She has also been part of the movies like ‘Hacked’, ‘Wishlist’, and the short film titled ‘Smartphone’.

The actress has starred in music videos as well, such as ‘Bhasoodi’, ‘Raanjhana’, ‘Humko Tum Mil Gaye’, ‘Patthar Wargi’, ‘Baarish Ban Jaana’, ‘Main Bhi Barbaad’, ‘Mohabbat Hai’, ‘Barsaat Aa Gayi’, and the recent track by Asees Kaur and Saaj Bhatt — ‘Halki Halki Si’.

Anil Kapoor celebrates 38 years of ‘Karma’ with rare pics from sets

Mumbai– Actor Anil Kapoor, who recently hosted the third season of the streaming reality show ‘Bigg Boss OTT’, is celebrating 38 years of the multi-starrer film ‘Karma’ directed by Subhash Ghai.

The actor took to Instagram Stories and shared a collage of some unseen pictures from the making of the film. Anil’s role in the film blended intensity with emotional depth, making it a memorable contribution to his illustrious career.

The film also starring Dilip Kumar, Nutan, Anupam Kher, Jackie Shroff, Naseeruddin Shah, Sridevi, and Poonam Dhillon in key roles has stood the test of time, as it effortlessly blended action, drama, and a powerful storyline into a compelling narrative.

The film is part of a long list of Anil’s collaborations with Jackie Shroff, which include films like ‘Ram Lakhan’, ‘Kala Bazaar’, ‘Yudh’, ‘Parinda’ and others.

‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ actress Aditi Bhatia takes her furry friends for special grooming

Mumbai– Young diva Aditi Bhatia, on Thursday, shared a peek into the special grooming session of her pet dogs Murphy and Ollie.

The actress, who has 6.4 million followers on Instagram, took to the Stories section and shared a video with her dogs. The snippet shows Aditi wearing a casual black tee-shirt and her pets are happily looking outside of the car’s window.

The video has a caption: “Post grooming people watching.”

In another story, Aditi is posing with ‘Ollie’ and wrote: “he’s been a bad boy lately!!”

Aditi also uploaded a selfie of herself, with unicorn, flower, heart and teddy bear stickers all around her.

She wrote: “& I’ve been a bad girl, so much chaos in my life, forgot to take care of myself or be active on insta but trust me I’m going mad.”

The last snap is a selfie featuring Aditi with Murphy and Ollie.

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old is best known for playing Ruhi Bhalla in the show ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’. The show which aired on Star Plus, was produced by Ekta Kapoor under Balaji Telefilms and starred Karan Patel, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Ruhanika Dhawan.

When Sharvari’s parents framed her first paycheck with a sweet note

Mumbai– Actress Sharvari, who entered the Rs 100 crore club with her recent success ‘Munjya’, revealed that her parents framed her first paycheck.

Sharvari, who started off in the industry as an assistant director, is currently basking in the success of ‘Munjya’ which is enjoying its theatrical run. The film, which is her second movie after ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’, emerged as a surprise hit and has so far made Rs 150 crore at the box office.

Talking about her most prized possession and reflecting on a cherished memory from early on in her career, Sharvari told IMDb: “When I was an assistant director, I got my first paycheck, and I remember that my parents actually framed that paycheck and wrote a really sweet note under it. So I think that’s my most prized possession.”

The actress was recently presented with the IMDb ‘Breakout Star’ STARmeter Award.

When asked about her favourite holiday season, Sharvari expressed her love for Ganesh Chaturthi.

She said: “My favourite holiday in general is Ganesh Chaturthi. I really love going to my native place, Morgaon. It’s the best time off that I get from my work and I just love that place very, very dearly. So no matter what, every year, I take out time during Ganesh Chaturthi and go to my native place, and that’s the best holiday ever. We have a house there which is called Wada and it is more than 100 years old.”

She shared that she absolutely loves ‘Jodhaa Akbar’, and used to be obsessed with that movie while growing up.

She said: “I think I can rewatch it anytime. I used to know the dialogues by heart, I used to love the costumes, the set, and of course, everybody on the set of Jodhaa Akbar. But I would say Aishwarya Rai ma’am is obviously my favourite character.”

Nia Sharma talks about her ‘forever crush’

Mumbai– Actress and diva Nia Sharma has finally revealed who her “forever crush is” on social media.

Nia took to her Instagram stories, where she shared a selfie with Bollywood actor Fardeen Khan.

In the image, Nia, who looks drop dead gorgeous in a black-fitted dress with a turtleneck, is seen flashing a toothy smile as she poses with Fardeen, who looks dapper in an all powder blue outfit.

For the caption, she wrote: “Forever crush”.

It seems Fardeen was on the sets of the comed-culinary show “Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment” to promote his upcoming film “Khel Khel Mein.” The film also stars Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, and Pragya Jaiswal.

“Khel Khel Mein” is a comedy thriller directed by Muddassar Aziz. It tells the story of a group of friends and their better halves who gather for game night, which ends with revealing secrets about each other.

Aditya had recently talked about working with a big star cast and said that it truly was a blast on set.

Fardeen, who is the son of veteran actor and filmmaker Feroz Khan, made his acting debut in 1998 with the film “Prem Aggan.” He was then seen in films such as “Jungle”, “Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya”, “Bhoot”, “Dev”, “Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega”, “Om Jai Jagadish”, “Janasheen”, “Fida”, “No Entry”, “Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena”,”Life Partner” and “All The Best”.

Sobhita Dhulipala, Naga Chaitanya to reportedly get engaged on Thursday

Mumbai– Actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala will reportedly get engaged in Hyderabad on Thursday.

On Thursday, the couple’s ceremony will be held in Hyderabad, as per a report by The Great Andhra.

A source confirmed to the portal that Chaitanya’s father and star Nagarjuna will be sharing the news on social media about their wedding. The engagement pictures will be out anytime after Friday.

As per the source, the couple “are going to get married very soon, and, first, they are going to get engaged on Thursday,”

It was in 2022, when rumours about the actors dating made the rounds on social media after they were spotted at a restaurant in London. Earlier this year, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita were seen vacationing in Europe.

Naga Chaitanya was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. They got married in 2017, and in 2021, the two announced their separation via a post on social media. The actor is known for his work in films such as “Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo”, “Preman”, “Josh” and the Aamir Khan-starrer “Laal Singh Chaddha”.

Naga Chaitanya has shared screen space with his former wife in movies such as “Ye Maaya Chesave”, “Manam”, “Majili” and “Autonagar Surya”.

Sobhita made a name for herself with her work in various films and web-shows. Born in Andhra Pradesh, the actress’ notable work includes “Ramanujan”, “Raman Raghav 2.0”, “Bard Of Blood”, “Made In Heaven”, “Ghost Stories”, “Kaalakaandi”, “Chef”, “Ponniyin Selvan” and “The Night Manager”.
