Zindagi Must Wait for Now: “Welcome Back Zindagi” Musical Show Re-Scheduled Again in Spring

LEXINGTON, MA—The “Welcome Back Zindagi” in-person musical event, which was originally scheduled on Sept. 18 to celebrate life returning to normal after months of lockdown and COVID-19 pandemic and has been postponed twice, is being re-scheduled again for some time in Spring 2022 due to indoor mask restrictions in Lexington, MA.

Lately, the event had been re-scheduled for Dec. 3, 2021. The organizers of event said that the Welcome Back Zindagi show is now being postponed again due to continued mandatory Mask restrictions in the auditorium of the Scottish Rite Masonic Museum in Lexington, MA.

“After much deliberations, WBZ Team decided to reschedule the show to next Spring  as we are still not  sure if indoor gathering would be safe for the community,” said Praveen Misra, one of the key organizers of the Welcome Back Zindagi show. “If anyone wants refunds for their tickets, they can contact anil@lokvani.com.”

He said the team will soon announce the new date. The organizers still plan to have the in-person musical evening from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The organizers will host a pre-event social drink/dinner reception from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm, followed by the musical program from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm.

Local singers for the program include Anuradha Palakurthi, Valentino Almeida, Raghu Saranathan, Suzana Naik, Rajeev Gangurde, Sankar Gangaikondan, and Ashu Patel.

In addition to Mr. Misra, other organizing team members are Harish Dang and Bipin Parikh. Other players include Sound: Jawed Wahid and Sanjay Jain; Social Media: Manisha Jain; and Creative Input: Prashanth Palakurthi. The event is supported by Palakurthi Foundation and Juju Productions.
