Mumbai – Veteran actress Zeenat Aman is on the road to recovery after being recently admitted to the ICU following sudden health complications. The team behind her upcoming web series, Showstopper, has confirmed that the yesteryear icon is now stable and recuperating well.
Manish Harishankar, writer and director of Showstopper, shared the news while expressing his concern.
“When I reached out to Zeenat ji for our upcoming promotional activities, I received a heartbreaking message from her, informing me that she had been in the ICU. It was a moment of shock for all of us.”
Praising the actress, he added:
“She is not just part of the cast — she is the emotional and creative backbone of Showstopper. We are relieved to hear she is now recovering, and we all wish her strength, health, and a swift return. The entire team awaits her energy and presence.”
The upcoming series also features Saurabh Raj Jain, Zarina Wahab, Rakesh Bedi, Akanksha Puri, and Shweta Tiwari in key roles.
The promotional campaign for Showstopper is being organized in partnership with DIISHA (Driving India’s Initiative for Social Health Awareness), a national health initiative launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
