‘Undekhi: The Final Battle’ Trailer Unveils Gautam Rode’s Entry Ahead of May 1 Release
Sony LIV thriller returns with revenge, power struggles, and a darker turn for familiar characters
MUMBAI — The trailer for Undekhi: The Final Battle was released Friday, offering a glimpse into the high-stakes drama of the upcoming season and introducing Gautam Rode as a key new entrant to the series.
Set in the show’s signature world of crime, power, and moral ambiguity, the trailer hints at escalating tensions as Papaji, played by Harsh Chhaya, attempts to reclaim control, while Rinku Atwal, portrayed by Surya Sharma, descends deeper into a path of vengeance fueled by personal loss.
Speaking about joining the franchise, Rode described it as a significant moment in his career. “It is incredibly exciting to join a franchise as successful and loved as ‘Undekhi’ on Sony LIV,” he said. “I promise his entry is going to be a pivotal moment in the season.”
Sharma, who returns as Rinku, said the new season takes a darker emotional turn. “Rinku is broken, searching for answers, and driven by pain. He’s a wounded lion in a world ruled by greed and violence,” he said, adding that viewers can expect an intense and gripping narrative.
The series also features Dibyendu Bhattacharya and Ankur Rathee in prominent roles.
Produced by Applause Entertainment in association with Banijay Asia and directed by Ashish R Shukla, the show continues to build on its reputation as a gritty thriller that explores the darker side of human ambition.
