Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy also expressed his shock over the killings, identifying the victims as residents of Nirmal and Nizamabad districts in Telangana. Reddy said he had spoken with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, who pledged full assistance to the victims’ families and committed to the urgent return of their remains.
“The MEA will also work towards ensuring the delivery of speedy justice in the matter. I thank Shri Jaishankar ji for his support and assistance,” Reddy added.
