Two More Suspects Arrested in Tiger Shroff Shooting Case, Bringing Total to 10

Mumbai — Police have arrested two additional suspects in connection with the shooting incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff, bringing the total number of arrests in the case to 10.
The latest suspects were taken into custody in Haryana and are expected to be presented before a court in Sonipat for transit remand. Once the necessary legal procedures are completed, they will be transferred to Mumbai for further questioning.
According to reports, both suspects allegedly played key roles in supplying weapons used in the attack.
The latest arrests follow an operation by the Delhi Police Special Cell’s NDR unit on October 20, during which four individuals were apprehended in connection with the shooting.
Those arrested were identified as Kunal, 21, and Sumit, 19, both residents of Haryana’s Sonipat district; Radha, 23, from Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh; and Babita, 23, from Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh.
The investigation stems from an October 18 shooting in Mumbai’s Juhu neighborhood, where three men riding a motorcycle allegedly opened fire at Shroff. The actor escaped unharmed, although his driver was reportedly injured.
Investigators believe the attackers fled to Surat, Gujarat, following the shooting before boarding a train bound for Jaipur. Authorities suspect the group intended to travel to New Delhi and eventually escape to Nepal.
Mumbai Police intercepted and arrested three suspects in Kota, Rajasthan, before they could carry out their alleged escape plan.
The investigation has also uncovered indications that the suspects conducted surveillance of several prominent Bollywood personalities before selecting Shroff as their target.
Sources within the Mumbai Crime Branch said the group had reportedly examined security arrangements at the residences of actors including Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan.
Investigators believe the suspects were instructed to identify celebrities with relatively limited security measures.
Reports suggest the group used auto-rickshaws to visit the homes of several Bollywood stars, including Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan, as part of their reconnaissance.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the alleged weapons supply network, the planning behind the shooting and whether additional individuals were involved. (Source: IANS)
