Arjun Bijlani wants his son to choose his own career

Mumbai–Actor Arjun Bijlani, who is currently seen in TV show “Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil”, says he wants his son to make his own decisions and choose his own career.

Arjun, who came into notice with “Left Right Left” followed by “Miley Jab Hum Tum”, married Neha Swami in 2013. The couple was blessed with a son last year.

“I want to see Ayaan grow into a fabulous person. I would want him to make his decisions and choose his own career,” Arjun said in a statement.

He added: “Neha and I will also pray for the brightest future for him but he has to make his mistakes and learn from them. That’s when he will love us back more than ever.”

The Star Plus show also features Drashti Dhami, Laksh Lakwani and Additi Gupta.

Parul Chauhan not hesitant to play mother on screen

Actress Parul Chauhan, who is seen essaying role of a mother in “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai”, says she has no qualms to play mother to a grown-up on screen.

Parul is still remembered for her role as Ragini in “Sapna Baabul Ka…Bidaai”. Now, she is seen as Swarna Goenka in the Star Plus show.

“The role of Swarna Goenka is different, majorly because I am playing a mother to a son who is of marriageable age. I have no qualms in playing a mother on screen. At the end of the day, it’s the character you play that matters. Swarna’s character is unique and different. There will be various shades of her’s that will open up,” Parul said in a statement.

With “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai”, the actress is working with producer Rajan Shahi after “Sapna Baabul Ka…Bidaai”.

Parul said: “I couldn’t say no to him. He has given me all that I have today and I couldn’t have asked for more. People still remember me as Ragini from ‘Bidaai’ and the due credit of this goes to Rajanji only. I really hope the audiences relate to Swarna as well.”

Would like to play Angoori: Alka Yagnik

Alka Yagnik finds the “Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai” character Angoori simple and sweet, and so if given a chance, the singer would love to play her role in the show.

Yagnik will make an appearance on the show soon.

“I have watched ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai’ and my family is a big fan of this show. I love all the characters but this dialogue ‘Sahi pakde hai’ has caught my attention so much so that I have become a fan of Angoori. She is very simple and sweet and soft spoken. So. if ever given a chance I would love to play her role in the show,” Yagnik said in a statement.

Karishma Tanna gets photoshoot done by co-actor

Mumbai–Actress Karishma Tanna has got a photoshoot done by her “Nagarjun Ek Yoddha” co-actor Mrunal Jain.

“Did not know that apart from being a great actor, my friend, Mrunal is a budding photographer too. He made me look so pretty,” Karishma said in a statement.

Mrunal lately clicked Karishma’s photographs on the Life Ok channel show’s set. The actress, who is seen playing Maskini in the show has two different looks in the show, one of Naglok and one of Prithvilok.

When asked about his experience of capturing Karishma in the frame, Mrunal said: “Karishma is a delight to shoot. I am glad that she liked the pictures. We have planned to do a proper themed Photoshoot very soon when we both have the time”.

Raza Murad to play Aurangzeb in ‘Peshwa Bajirao’

Actor Raza Murad, who has previously played the role of the Nizam in filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus “Bajirao Mastani”, will now be seen essaying the character of Aurangzeb in the upcoming TV show “Peshwa Bajirao”.

Talking about his role in the Sony Entertainment Television channel’s show, Raza said: “Well as in ‘Peshwa Bajirao’, Aurangzeb has mellowed down with repeated battle defeats and old age is also catching up with him. He is at the far end of his era as a ruler and is just a pale shadow of his past.”
