The event promises to bring the rich tradition of Hindi humorous poetry to audiences across New England, offering a unique blend of satire, social commentary, and entertainment.

The cultural gathering will feature performances by three acclaimed poets whose work has earned recognition both in India and internationally.

Sampat Saral, one of the most respected names in Hindi satire today, is renowned for his sharp observations on social, cultural, and political realities. Widely regarded as a leading figure in humorous prose after literary greats Sharad Joshi and K.P. Saxena, Saral has authored several acclaimed works, including Ek Manzila Makan Mein Lift, Nithalle Bahut Busy Hain, and Buddhiprakash. His performances have captivated audiences across the United States, Canada, Russia, UAE, Thailand, Singapore, Oman, and Nepal.

Joining him will be Chirag Jain, a popular Hindi poet, humorist, satirist, and author known for his engaging performances at Kavi Sammelans and television shows such as Wah! Wah! Kya Baat Hai and Laugh India Laugh. An accomplished writer with more than seven published books, Jain has been honored with the Bhashadoot Samman for his efforts in promoting Hindi through digital media.

The evening will also showcase Govind Rathi, whose subtle yet impactful style of satire has earned him a distinguished place among India’s leading Hasya Kavi Sammelan performers. Known for conveying profound messages with remarkable brevity, Rathi has presented poetry across numerous countries and has appeared on major television channels and prestigious literary platforms throughout India.

The event is designed to celebrate Hindi literature, humor, and community engagement while offering audiences a rare opportunity to experience three distinguished poets on one stage.
