The competition was held on May 20 at RJ Grey School in Acton, MA, and was organized by Eshani Shah, a former president of Gurjar and one of the log-time activists of the organization, which is popularly known as Gurjar.
“As always the participants went all out with their creativity and enthusiasm,” said Shah.
Judges for the competition were: Arsh Mehrotra, Nikita Punjabi and Namita Dodwadkar.
Gurjar also honored three Super Moms who have made a difference in the community: Dr. Manju Sheth in the field of women empowerment, Dr. Java Joshi in the field of Art and Culture via education and Shobha Shastry for her selfless support to all non-profits.
The event is sponsored by Dr. Sheth, host of INDIA New England news’ “Chai with Manju” celebrity interview series; Shastry of Alankar Decorations; Joshi of Academy of Creative Arts; and Twinkle Morbia of Syna Collections.
