BOSTON, MA— Shirish Nimgaonkar is not your typical entrepreneur. An IIT Bombay graduate with a Master’s degree from Stanford and an MBA from Harvard Business School, he has successfully founded and exited four companies. But beyond boardrooms and business strategy, Nimgaonkar is also an accomplished singer—one who began his musical journey at the tender age of five.
On November 1, 2025, Nimgaonkar will take center stage as the featured singer at the 9th Annual New England Choice Awards Gala, to be held at the Burlington Marriott in Burlington, Massachusetts.

Nimgaonkar is the founder and lead singer of Kashish, a musical group known for its fusion of diverse global styles, blending classical influences with contemporary sounds. A classically trained vocalist, he has performed extensively across the United States and India and was the winner of the New England Sa Re Ga Ma Pa competition.
When he’s not performing, Nimgaonkar continues to lead in the tech and innovation space. He currently serves as the Founder and CEO of eBlissAI, is an Entrepreneur in Residence at Harvard, and sits on the Board of TiE-Boston, one of the region’s most prominent entrepreneurship networks.
