Sahil Rishi Named Group President of Acclaro

Boston — Acclaro has appointed Sahil Rishi as Group President, making him the company’s most senior executive as it expands its focus on AI-powered content intelligence.

Rishi, who previously served as Acclaro’s Chief Financial Officer for 18 months, will report directly to the Board. He succeeds Russell Haworth, who is stepping down as Chief Executive Officer.

As CFO, Rishi led Acclaro’s finance, legal, compliance and business intelligence functions and played a significant role in developing the company’s growth and technology strategy.

Before joining Acclaro, he held executive positions across the professional services, healthcare and insurance sectors.

“Sahil is the right leader for Acclaro’s next chapter. He knows the business and the localization industry deeply, he has been central to shaping its technology strategy, and he combines commercial rigor with a clear view of where the market is heading,” said Daniel Sasaki, Managing Partner at Mayfair Equity Partners, Acclaro’s majority investor.

Sasaki said Acclaro plans to accelerate its transition into a technology-led content intelligence company under Rishi’s leadership.

“Translation makes content understood. Content intelligence makes it work with impact,” Rishi said. “The brands that win will be those that can create, adapt and activate content across every market at the speed of AI, guided by people who understand nuance, intent and business impact.”

Rishi added that Acclaro has the technology and expertise to compete in the growing content intelligence sector.

His appointment comes as Acclaro expands its use of artificial intelligence across localization and content services. The company recently launched Acclaro Augmented Translation, which combines AI models with human expertise, as well as Acclaro Multimedia Orchestration, which incorporates AI-powered subtitling, dubbing, lip syncing and voiceover.

Acclaro has also appointed Camilla de Villiers as Chief Operating Officer to help scale operations as demand for its AI-based content intelligence services grows.

The company said it has begun a search for a new Chief Financial Officer.
