BOSTON—Jane Doe and Saheli, a non-profit organization for the support and friendship for South Asian women and families, will join 2016 White Ribbon Day event on March 3 at the Massachusetts State House located at 24 Beacon Street in Boston.
This effort is headed by Ramesh Advani, who is a White Ribbon Day Ambassador and is inviting the Indian community to join the event in force. The free event runs form 1:00 PM to 2.30 PM at the Gardner Auditorium followed by a reception in Nurses Hall at the Massachusetts State House.
The event will be an important one with Massachusetts Governor and Lt. Governor in attendance along with hundreds of other advocates against domestic and gender violence. This is for all men and women who believe in a better world here in Massachusetts, Advani said.
