BOSTON – Internationally known Punjabi folk singers Ranjit Bawa and Anmol Gagan will present at a concert on June 10, 2018 at 6:30 pm at Natick High School in Natick, MA. The concert is jointly organized by Boston Bhangra, Extreme Productions, Masala Bay, Mera Sangeet and Passage to India.

Singer Ranjit Bawa rose to fame from his single “Jatt Di Akal” which broke many Punjabi records. He made his debut in the 2015 Album, Mitti Da Bawa which was awarded ‘Best World Album’ award in the 2015 Brit Asia Awards. He has also received “PTC Best Folk oriented Song Award” in 2013 for his Song in 2013, Jatt Di Akal. Since then, he has produced massive hits like Sher Marna, Tankha, Jean, Yaar Chandigarh Waliye, Ja Ve Mundeya, Parahune, Sadi Vari Aun De and many more!
Anmol Gagan Maan is a Punjabi Singer known for her Punjabi Folk, Bhangra songs. Anmol is not only a singer, but she is also a songwriter. Anmol Gagan Maan loves to play Tumbi ancient music instrument which she has incorporated in her music.
This is a family friendly event and will be the largest Punjabi Folk music concert in New England, organizers said in a statement. The main goal for the promoters is to popularize Punjabi culture in New England. This event is the first in a series of events planned.
