Prateek Kuhad Releases New Single From Upcoming Album

MUMBAI, India — Singer-songwriter Prateek Kuhad has released “Blush,” the first single from his upcoming album, “Full Moon Chamber,” which is scheduled to be released July 10 through Atlantic Records.

Kuhad said the song captures the intensity of early romantic attraction.

“It’s that heady feeling of infatuation that comes with meeting somebody and falling for them hard,” Kuhad said.

“Full Moon Chamber” will be Kuhad’s third studio album and follows “The Way That Lovers Do,” released in 2022.

“Blush” explores love, identity and emotional transformation, reflecting a period of personal and artistic change for the artist.

“I went through a lot of uncertainty for a couple of years. The music industry changed. A lot changed for me personally as well. But through it all, I ended up finding a part of myself that I had lost. The album follows that arc,” Kuhad said.

The album was produced with L.A.-based producer Nick Ruth, whose credits include Kelly Clarkson, Bakar and Lauren Spencer Smith. It is set for worldwide release July 10.

Kuhad announced the track on social media, writing, “My new single, Blush is out now – the first one from my upcoming album Full Moon Chamber. Watch & listen to it on the link in my bio. (sic).”

After several early EPs, Kuhad released his full-length debut, “In Tokens and Charms,” in 2017. The album won Indie Album of the Year honors from iTunes.

In 2018, his EP “cold/mess” debuted at No. 1 on Spotify India. His 2020 single “Kasoor” became the first independently released track in India to reach No. 1 on Apple Music’s all-genre chart.

His song “Co2” later became his most-streamed track across platforms.

Kuhad has also headlined festivals including Lollapalooza India and performed sold-out tours across North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, Asia and the Middle East. (Source: IANS)
