NEW YORK–Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is scheduled to visit New York on June 12th and 13th, 2018.
During this time, the Chief Minister is scheduled to attend a series of one-on-one meetings, focused round table discussions with business leaders and to attend a community event.
The visit is being branded as “Mumbai meets Manhattan” as Mumbai and New York being the financial capitals of their respective countries have a lot in common and there exist a number of synergies to cement a mutually beneficial relationship.
The visit seeks to give momentum to infrastructure and Information Technology initiatives in Maharashtra and assumes importance in light of the strong performance of the India’s economy in general and of Maharashtra in particular.
