FOXBOROUGH, MA—Miss India New England pageant announced the winners of Miss India New England, Miss India NH, Miss India RI and Miss India Massachusetts and other winners during its 7th annual pageant held last week.
The girls/women of Indian origin who belong to Massachusetts, Rhode Island, or New Hampshire had competed in four rounds of contest: Evening Gown, Ethnic Dress, Talent and On-stage Question, organizers of the event said in a statement.
Here is the list of main award winners for 2019:
Miss India New England: Sivani Jonnalagadda
Miss India Teen New England: Mihika Abraham
Mrs India New England: Deepa Jayavelu.
Crown sponsors were Tewarie Enterprises. Pageant is directed and produced by Ruchika Arora who is also state director of Miss India USA.
“The Miss India New England pageant is designed to identify and support talented young Indian American people and promote culture, traditions of India in United States for modern generations,” the statement said. “The inspirational women introducing themselves on the stage represent strength of Indian American girls/women and community when they talk about their educational background, professional achievements and aspirations.”
