Massachusetts State Auditor Diana DiZoglio to Serve as Guest of Honor and Keynote Speaker at 23rd Annual Women of the Year Awards Gala
BURLINGTON, MA — Diana DiZoglio, the Massachusetts State Auditor and the youngest serving statewide constitutional officer in the Commonwealth, will serve as the Guest of Honor and Keynote Speaker at the 23rd Annual Women of the Year Awards Gala, scheduled for March 14, 2026, at Burlington Marriott in Burlington, MA.
Produced by INDIA New England News, the prestigious annual gala is expected to bring together approximately 400 community and business leaders, philanthropists, academicians, and professionals from across New England to celebrate women’s leadership, achievements, and contributions to society.
DiZoglio currently represents the entire Commonwealth as Massachusetts State Auditor, serving as the chief accountability officer responsible for ensuring transparency, oversight, and responsible use of taxpayer dollars in state government. Her office conducts audits of state agencies and contractors to assess performance and recommend improvements aimed at making government more effective for residents across Massachusetts.
Before being elected State Auditor, DiZoglio built a diverse career across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. She previously served as a Massachusetts State Senator and State Representative, in addition to working as a small business owner and nonprofit project manager. These experiences, she has often said, shaped her understanding of the real challenges facing working families throughout the Commonwealth.
As State Auditor, DiZoglio leads an office dedicated to strengthening government accountability and improving public services. Through audits, investigations, and performance reviews, the office has identified billions of dollars in improper spending and missed savings opportunities over the years, helping improve the efficiency and effectiveness of state programs.
The Office of the State Auditor operates regional offices in Boston, Marlborough, Chicopee, Lawrence, Quincy, and Brockton, expanding its reach to communities across Massachusetts and reinforcing its mission of ensuring government works better for all residents.
Upendra Mishra, publisher of INDIA New England News and producer of the Women of the Year Awards Gala, said DiZoglio’s leadership and dedication to public service make her an ideal keynote speaker for the event.
“Auditor Diana DiZoglio represents a new generation of leadership committed to transparency, accountability, and public service,” Mishra said. “Her journey—from small business owner and nonprofit advocate to becoming the youngest statewide constitutional officer in Massachusetts—is deeply inspiring. Having her as our Guest of Honor and Keynote Speaker will add tremendous meaning to an evening dedicated to celebrating the achievements and impact of women leaders.”
Mishra added that the Women of the Year Awards Gala has evolved into one of the region’s most anticipated celebrations of women’s leadership.
“For more than two decades, this event has honored remarkable women while bringing together leaders from business, academia, philanthropy, and civic life,” he said. “Auditor DiZoglio’s participation underscores the importance of women’s voices in shaping policy, strengthening institutions, and building stronger communities.”
The Women of the Year Awards Gala has become a signature event in New England, spotlighting trailblazing women while fostering dialogue, collaboration, and inspiration across communities.
The 2026 Awards gala has been sold out.
