LOWELL, MA—Lowell General Hospital, a community hospital serving the Greater Lowell area and surrounding communities, felicitated Dr. Shashi Dwarkanath, MD, for her service.
A beautiful plaque with her message “Universal Love and Peace to all Peoples” now hangs in the front of the main hospital lobby of the hospital.
Dr. Dwarkanath, who served as a physician at Lowell General Hospital, is one of the founders of Chinmaya Mission Boston and its Resident Acharya. In 2017, she was honored with prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award by INDIA New England News.
At the Lowell General Hospital ceremony, Acharya Dr. Dwarkanath was praised for her immense dedication to her work, compassionate service to patients and for her sought-after leadership skills, both as an individual and as the Chief of Pathology.
