Kriti Sanon Visits Tirumala Temple with Family Ahead of ‘Cocktail 2’ Release
Actress offers prayers at the renowned Andhra Pradesh shrine as she prepares for the release of the much-anticipated romantic drama
MUMBAI — Actress Kriti Sanon visited the revered Tirumala Temple on Wednesday along with her family to seek blessings ahead of the release of her upcoming film, Cocktail 2.
The actress was seen offering prayers and participating in temple rituals during her visit to one of India’s most prominent pilgrimage sites. Dressed in a simple white traditional outfit with minimal makeup, Kriti spent time at the temple with family members and greeted devotees with folded hands as she exited the shrine.
Videos and photographs from the visit quickly circulated on social media, with several devotees gathering to catch a glimpse of the actress and take pictures during her visit.
On the professional front, Kriti is gearing up for the release of Cocktail 2, which also stars Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna.
The film’s trailer was released earlier this week, offering audiences a glimpse into the sequel to the popular romantic drama franchise.
Speaking about the project, Kriti said she was drawn to the film’s contemporary take on relationships.
“What I love about Cocktail 2 is that it feels stylish and visually refreshing, but also very relatable and modern. The relationships are messy, warm, and real in their own way. The characters are beautifully flawed, and the film is a toast to friendship and love from today’s lens. And honestly, the music just takes everything to another level,” she said.
Shahid Kapoor described the film as an entertaining summer release.
“Cocktail 2 is what summer feels like. It has madness, emotion, humor, romance, and a lot of heart. It’s the kind of film you want to experience with your friends. We had an amazing time making it, and I think that energy really comes through in the trailer,” he said.
