Mumbai– Actor Kartik Aaryan has officially introduced Bollywood veteran Jackie Shroff as the latest addition to the cast of his much-anticipated film Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri — and fittingly crowned him the “OG Hero.”
Kartik took to Instagram to share a playful video in which Jackie is seen blowing flying kisses toward a clapperboard featuring the film’s title. While no explicit announcement was made, the gesture strongly hinted at Jackie Shroff’s involvement in the film, sparking excitement among fans.
Referring to Jackie as the “OG Hero,” Kartik paid tribute to the actor’s iconic debut in Subhash Ghai’s 1983 blockbuster Hero, which catapulted Shroff to stardom and established him as a quintessential leading man of Bollywood.
An Exciting Ensemble and Reunion
Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri features Ananya Panday opposite Kartik Aaryan, marking the duo’s second on-screen collaboration after the 2019 hit Pati Patni Aur Woh. The romantic drama is being directed by Sameer Vidwans and is currently being filmed in Rajasthan, following a recently concluded shooting schedule in Croatia.
Kartik gave fans a glimpse into the Croatia shoot on Instagram, posting a picture of himself lying on a ship with the caption:
“And it’s a wrap for over a month-long and happening Croatian schedule #TuMeriMainTeraMainTeraTuMeri.”
Production Powerhouse
The film is backed by a powerhouse production team including Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Shareen Mantri Kedia, and Kishor Arora. It is slated for a theatrical release on February 13, 2026, making it a potential Valentine’s Day weekend blockbuster.
