Kailash Kher Sings Along to ‘Saiyyan’ During Night Drive
Mumbai — Singer and composer Kailash Kher revisited one of his best-known songs, “Saiyyan,” during a night drive, sharing the moment with fans on social media.
Kher posted a video on Instagram Wednesday showing himself behind the wheel as “Saiyyan” played in the car. The singer could be seen singing along with the track.
“Driving, singing, and letting Saiyyan take over,” Kher captioned the post.
Fans responded to the video with messages of appreciation and heart emojis.
“Saiyyan” is one of Kher’s most recognizable songs and appeared on the 2007 album “Jhoomo Re.” The track was performed and composed by Kher along with Paresh Kamath and Naresh Kamath, his collaborators in the band Kailasa.
Kher has previously shared his enthusiasm for driving on social media. In July, he posted another nighttime driving video while enjoying Mumbai’s monsoon weather.
“Nothing’s more relaxing than a Mumbai Monsoon Drive,” he wrote at the time. The video featured his song “S.I.D.H.U.” from the 2009 Akshay Kumar film “Chandni Chowk to China.”
Kher rose to prominence with “Allah Ke Bande” from the 2003 film “Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II.” He later became known for songs including “Teri Deewani,” “Saiyyan” and “Bam Lahiri,” some of which he performed with Kailasa.
During his career, Kher has also contributed songs to films including “Mangal Pandey: The Rising,” “Corporate,” “Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute to Love” and the “Baahubali” series. (Source: IANS)
