Jasmine Sandlas calls collaboration with Satinder Sartaaj her “biggest victory”

MUMBAI — Punjabi singer Jasmine Sandlas said working with acclaimed artist Satinder Sartaaj on the song “Jaiye Sajana” was a dream come true, describing the collaboration as her “biggest victory.”

The track, featured in the film “Dhurandhar: The Revenge,” has gained traction on social media. The film stars Ranveer Singh, R. Madhavan, and Sanjay Dutt and is the latest installment in a high-stakes action franchise.

Sandlas shared a video from the song’s launch on Instagram, expressing her admiration for Sartaaj.

“It’s a dream come true to work with the one and only @satindersartaaj. I am such a big fan and I deeply adore his music. My mom is so happy and that is my biggest victory,” she wrote.

Sartaaj rose to prominence with his song “Sai” and has since performed internationally. He also made his acting debut as Maharaja Duleep Singh in the 2017 film “The Black Prince.”

The music for “Jaiye Sajana” is composed by Shashwat Sachdev, whom Sandlas credited for pushing her creatively.

“@shashwatology I love you bro. You pushed me to my limits to write these songs. The sleepless nights in the studio were all worth it. You’re a mad man walking the earth and your obsession to create beautiful music is unreal. You’ve changed my life. My concerts feel like festivals now,” she wrote.

She also praised director Aditya Dhar, expressing gratitude for being part of the project.

“@adityadharfilms Your intention is as pure as a snowflake before it touches the ground. Thank you for choosing me. I am forever grateful,” she added.

“Dhurandhar: The Revenge,” released recently, continues the story of an undercover Indian intelligence agent navigating criminal networks and political structures in Karachi while confronting evolving threats. The franchise draws inspiration from real-world geopolitical events and conflicts in South Asia. (Source: IANS)
