
ASHLAND, MA—Indira Desai, president and CEO of Laxmi Corporation and Resident Care Rehabilitation & Nursing Care, has opened a brand new 103-bed Waterview Lodge Rehabilitation & Healthcare facility in Ashland, MA.
“After 28 years in business, my vision of building a beautiful, new healthcare facility has been achieved,” Desai said in a statement. “It is my hope that all the communities of Metrowest, especially Ashland, Hopkinton, Holliston, Sherborn, Natick, Framingham and Milford will be proud of this new landmark for years to come.”
The state-of-the-art healthcare facility is situated in a beautiful, 12-acre woodland setting on the Ashland-Hopkinton line in Massachusetts, and provides guests with orthopedic, stroke, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation services. The new facility, which opened earlier this year, also offers private and semi-private rooms.
The four-story, 52,000-square-foot facility is located at 250 Union Street in Ashland, and is licensed for both Medicare and Medicaid.
Waterview Lodge provides guests with a 25-bed orthopedic, stroke, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation unit with a fully-equipped gym. Included on this unit are nine private rooms, each with a shower and bath, multiple dining spaces and a family meeting room.
Also included in the building design are two 39-bed long-term care unit for residents who are no longer able to manage in the community.
