Adampur– Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the armed forces during a visit to the Adampur Air Force Station on Tuesday, delivered a forceful message reaffirming India’s uncompromising stance on terrorism and national security.
Referencing the recently conducted Operation Sindoor, Modi declared that India’s response to terrorism has entered a new era—marked by precision, strength, and zero tolerance.
“The chant of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ is not just a slogan,” he said. “It is a sacred pledge that reverberates through every drone strike and missile launch that strikes down those who threaten our nation. When Indian soldiers raise that cry, it sends chills down the enemy’s spine.”
Calling Operation Sindoor a watershed moment, Modi described it as a convergence of bold policy, clear intent, and decisive military capability. “This was not a routine operation—it was a message,” he asserted. “A message that India today possesses the technological edge, strategic foresight, and the will to act.”
He invoked the legacy of spiritual icons and warriors, stating, “India is the land of Buddha and Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Our values teach peace, but we do not hesitate when our dignity is challenged.”
Modi said the operation resulted in the destruction of nine major terror hubs and the elimination of over 100 terrorists, all within enemy territory. “Those who came in secret to harm India’s daughters were crushed in their own hideouts,” he said. “Those who provoke India must be prepared to face total annihilation.”
Taking aim at Pakistan, Modi accused its military of harboring terror groups and said Operation Sindoor had left it “humiliated and exposed.”
He praised the integrated response across India’s armed forces, noting that the Navy ensured maritime dominance, the Army reinforced borders, and the Air Force executed precision strikes deep inside Pakistan, all within 25 minutes. The coordinated efforts of the Border Security Force (BSF) and paramilitary units, he added, represented a new benchmark in military synergy.
Highlighting India’s advanced defense systems, Modi pointed to the indigenous Akash and Russian-made S-400 air defense systems, which successfully intercepted incoming Pakistani missiles and UAVs. He ridiculed Pakistan’s disinformation efforts, including false claims about the destruction of the Adampur base and the S-400 system, which were debunked when photos of Modi standing beside the intact S-400 were released.
“This was our quiet, firm answer to their lies,” he said.
Modi emphasized the professionalism of India’s forces, who ensured zero civilian casualties even when Pakistani forces attempted to use civilian airliners as cover.
“Our response was precise, powerful, and responsible. That’s the strength of a modern, professional force,” he said.
He warned that while India chose to pause military action at Pakistan’s request, this decision must not be mistaken for weakness. “Should provocation continue, India will strike back—on its terms, at its chosen time,” he warned, adding that India would treat terrorist leaders and the governments that shelter them with the same severity.
In closing, the Prime Minister hailed the courage of the armed forces, saying they had not only defended India’s borders but elevated the pride of the entire nation.
“This is the new India,” Modi declared. “We seek peace. But if humanity is threatened, we will not hesitate to crush our enemies.” (Source: IANS)
