INDIA New England is proud to announce the following 20 finalists for its 2011 Woman of the Year award, which honors local South Asian women for their success and contributions to business, cultural, social and charitable endeavors. For close to a decade, the paper has highlighted the tremendous efforts made by South Asian women in the region and this year brings another stellar collection of individuals. There were many worthy women nominated for the Woman of the Year award and, though it is always a difficult process to narrow down these submissions to just 20, the following finalists are all a great representation of the talented, hardworking and influential South Asian women of the local community.
