Mumbai – The makers of War 2 have unveiled the high-octane trailer of the much-anticipated action film, where Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr. make a powerful declaration: it’s “India first” as they prepare to go to war.

The two-and-a-half-minute trailer teases a riveting face-off between two soldiers on opposite ends of a deadly mission. Hrithik’s character promises to be a “faceless shadow,” while NTR Jr. vows to be “a weapon”—both driven by the same cause: the nation.

The trailer is packed with intense action sequences, firepower, and emotional stakes, yet remains tightly sealed when it comes to plot details, building suspense for fans of the YRF Spy Universe.

Kiara Advani joins the ensemble, seemingly playing Hrithik’s love interest while also showcasing her action prowess. A subtle nod to Tiger Shroff’s character, Kabir’s former comrade, comes through a flashback photo, suggesting his legacy still looms large.

The trailer ends on a stirring note with the iconic Bhagavad Gita shloka:

“Karmanye vadhikaraste ma phaleshu kadachana”
(You have the right to perform your duty, but not to the fruits of your actions.)

This ancient verse underscores the film’s central theme of duty over personal gain, adding philosophical weight to the explosive action.

Hrithik and NTR Jr. shared the trailer in a collaborative post on Instagram, captioning it:

“Get ready for the storm, the WAR begins now! #War2Trailer is out!
#War2 releasing in Hindi, Telugu & Tamil on August 14 in cinemas worldwide! #YRFSpyUniverse”

A Global Release with a Dolby Cinema First
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 marks the sixth film in the expanding YRF Spy Universe, following hits like Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3.

The film will also be the first Indian movie to release in Dolby Cinema in India and select international markets, including the US, UK, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait.

Set to release on August 14, 2025, just ahead of India’s Independence Day, War 2 promises to blend patriotism, mythic undertones, and adrenaline-fueled spectacle on a global scale. (Source: IANS)
