IAGB to Host its Annual Republic Day Mela on Jan. 25, with Fashion Show, Cultural Program and Competitions

BURLINGTON, MA–India Association of Greater Boston, known as IAGB, announced that it will organize its annual Republic Day Mela on January 25, 2020 at the Burlington High School in Burlington, MA.

This year the event will be made up of three separate segments: Entertainment, Regional Performances and Creative and Social Impact Shows, IAGB said in a statement.

IAGB will bring performances from all interested regional organizations together at the event so that audiences experience a truly immersive Indian experience.

The Creative and Social Impact Shows will focus on bringing relevant issues that the Indian American community faces to engage and involve the audience.

There will be competitions on the day of the event for members of all ages. These include chess, carrom, art, storytelling, elocution, poetry, Baking/Decoration, Business Pitch for Young Entrepreneurs and Poster competition.

Cultural performances which have the hallmark of IAGB events will also be held.

IAGB will also have exhibition booths from various vendors and organizations in New England at IAGB’s Republic Day events.  Please reach out to IAGB or visit the organization online to reserve an early bird slot.
