WALTHAM, MA– Haimanti Rakshit Das, a renowned singer of Bengali and Hindi songs from Bangladesh will perform in on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2019, at McDevitt Middle School located at 75 Church St. in Waltham, MA.
The program will be held from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
Haimanti is in the United States to perform in New York City, Atlanta and FOBANA 2019. She has performed in various shows in Bangladesh, India, Australia, Singapore, Netherlands, Lebanon and the U.S.
Haimanti had a very early start in singing and has won many prestigious awards to her credit for her outstanding performance and contributions to music, including playback singing in Bangladeshi films and TV programs.
Haimanti will be accompanied by her husband Ashim Das and local talents in Boston in percussion and other musical instruments.
Tickets will be sold for $15 per person. Children under 12 are free.
