Guru Randhawa Hits Back at Trolls, Says ‘Make Some New Strategy Against Me’
Mumbai — Singer Guru Randhawa has responded to online criticism surrounding his latest song, “Fine Shyt,” telling his detractors to come up with a new strategy because their current one “didn’t work.”
Randhawa shared the message on social media while describing his approach as a “Sisu” mindset, referring to the Finnish concept of resilience, determination and inner strength in the face of adversity.
“SISU MINDSET AND MOVES….!!! Also tell all of them to make some new strategy against me…….this one didnt work!! In my own lane….One vs All… Rare Like PAGANI 2025 was 2026 is and rest of the years are mine!!! Finest Shytttt,” he wrote.
The post came after Randhawa faced trolling on social media over “Fine Shyt,” which was released Aug. 6. The music video features Randhawa and co-singer Yashvi Desai alongside several popular internet creators.
Randhawa has also been promoting his recent track “SIX,” which he previously described as an effort to blend hip-hop with Punjabi musical influences.
“I’ve always loved hip-hop culture, but I wanted to blend it authentically with our native Punjabi vibe. ‘SIX’ is about hitting it out of the park. It’s about the grind, the focus, and the mindset it takes to stay at the top,” he said in a statement.
Randhawa said working again with Kiran Bajwa helped make the musical shift feel natural.
“Having Kiran Bajwa back on a track with me made this sonic shift feel natural. We’ve built a specific musical trust, and this track represents the next step in our collaborative journey,” he said.
Randhawa and Bajwa have previously collaborated on songs including “Sirra,” from the album Without Prejudice, and the single “SHKINI.” (Source: IANS)
