GURJAR brings back popular India’s Heritage Fest in Lowell

LOWELL, MA– The Gujarati Association of New England, known as Gurjar, will host it annual India Heritage Fest on Saturday, Sept. 7, in Lowell, MA, organizers said in a statement.

The festival will be held the Heritage Park on Pawtucket Boulevard in Lowell. The event is free to all attendees and will be held from Noon to 6:00 PM.

“Back by popular demand, after a huge success and tremendous response from the community and the desire from the Lowell city officials, that we continue to make this an annual event,” said Gurjar President Saroj Madhani in the statement.

Last year more than 5,000 people enjoyed the fun filled afternoon, the statement said.

Organizers said this year’s fun filled day on the river front in Lowell will have a variety of food, fun shopping for clothes, jewelry, plants, tropical fruits, big prize raffles, VIP attendees and continuous entertainment. The dunk tank and the bouncy for the kids were an added attraction last year.
