BURLINGTON, MA–When innovation meets purpose, remarkable things happen—especially when the innovators are high school students. This summer, two young business leaders from the TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) Boston program—Sarada Koppana and Reya Kannan—will take the stage at the Vidya Bharati USA Leadership Reception & Gala on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, in Burlington, MA.

Sarada and Reya’s teams recently made waves at the TYE Global Pitch Competitions, held in 2024 in Silicon Valley and in 2025 at George Mason University and Amity University in Delhi-NCR.

Now, they’ll share their journeys and insights with attendees of the Gala, offering a unique glimpse into how TYE is shaping the next generation of changemakers.

Come hear their stories of entrepreneurial growth, innovation, and impact at the Gala, where they’ll be recognized for their outstanding work.

TYE Team Highlights

Reya Kannan

Reya Kannan is the CEO of Inventrack, the team of four high school girls from the Boston area who earned the Best Business Model Award at the 2025 TYE Globals for their AI-powered inventory management platform. Designed for small and midsize businesses, their system streamlines operations, reduces waste, and supports scalable growth.

“TYE taught me how to turn a business idea into a real world solution, giving me the confidence and practical skills to build something valuable beyond the classroom,” said Reya.

Sarada Koppana is COO of Telepark, the 2024 TYE Global winner for Best Execution and Best Elevator Pitch. Her team created a smart parking solution to direct drivers to available meters near their destinations—helping reduce traffic congestion and making city life easier for drivers everywhere.

Sarada Koppana

“We built Telepark because we saw our parents struggle to find parking constantly,” said Sarada Koppana, Telepark COO and rising senior at Chelmsford High School. “We knew if it’s a problem in our lives, it’s probably a problem in many others’ too—and we wanted to fix that.”

Each team’s journey began in TYE Boston’s 8-month entrepreneurship academy, where students dive into design thinking, lean startup methods, market validation, prototyping, and pitching. What sets TYE apart is its “learning by doing” philosophy. Students don’t just theorize—they build, test, and pitch real ventures under the guidance of mentors and business leaders.

Why This Matters at the Vidya Bharati Gala

At its core, the Vidya Bharati movement—the world’s largest NGO-led educational network—champions access to quality, values-based education for underserved children across India. The stories of Inventrack and Telepark align with this mission: when students are empowered with education, mentorship, and purpose, they create meaningful change.

The Gala is not just a celebration—it’s a call to action. It offers the Boston community a chance to support global education equity while hearing directly from local students making a global impact.
