CHENNAI– The first single from director Faizal Faziludeen’s upcoming Malayalam romantic action entertainer Maine Pyar Kiya was released on Tuesday, with the lyrical video of the track Manohari drawing an enthusiastic response from fans.
Composed by Electronic Kili with lyrics by Muthu, the romantic number is sung by Nihal Sadiq and Vijay Anand. The song, picturised on lead pair Hridhu Haroon and Preity Mukhundhan, sets the tone for what the makers describe as a love story laced with action.
Produced by Sanju Unnithan under Spire Productions, the film will be released simultaneously in Malayalam and Tamil. It marks the second venture from the banner, following last year’s Mandakini.
The film has already attracted attention due to the recent success of its leads. Hridhu Haroon’s performances in Mura and All We Imagine as Light have earned critical acclaim, while Preity Mukhundhan was recently praised for her role in Mukesh Kumar Singh’s devotional drama Kannappa.
The cast also features Askar Ali, Midhun, Arjo, Jagadeesh, Mustafa, Jero, Redin Kingsley, Boxer Dheena, and Mime Gopi. On the technical side, Don Paul P handles cinematography, Kannan Mohan is the editor, Mihraj Khalid and Vijay Anand score the background music, and Renganaath Ravee oversees sound design. Stunts are choreographed by Kalai Kingson, with art direction by Sunil Kumaran.
With Manohari now out, anticipation is building for Maine Pyar Kiya, which is slated for release later this year. (Source: IANS)
