BURLINGTON, MA—Due to snow storm, India Association of Greater Boston, known as IAGB, has postponed its semi-final Antakshari competition to Sunday, Jan. 8, at the same place but a bit earlier. The event was originally scheduled for Saturday (Jan. 7) at Priya Restaurant in Lowell, MA.
“IAGB Antakshari Semi-Finals have been moved to Sunday, Jan. 8th starting at 5 pm at Priya Restaurant Lowell,” said Aditi Taylor, an IAGB board member and one of the key organizers of the Antakshari competition. “If capacity opens up tomorrow, we may be able to accommodate additional people.”
She said people interested in attending Sunday’s event should contact IAGB team members. Entry fee is $10 and includes dinner.
Out of more than 30, ten teams have been selected to participate in the semi-final Antakshari competition. Four winners from semi-final will go to the final live Antakshari Competition on IAGB-organized Republic Day celebrations on Jan. 28 at Burlington High School in Burlington, MA.
