“My goal is the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, forming partnerships with local organizations for community health activities, boosting membership, and fostering social connections,” said Dr. Khond, an internist who completed her residency from New York and joined IMANE in 2019.
Dr. Khond also wants to attract young physicians to the 45-year-old organization by addressing physician burnout, emphasizing the benefits of networking, showcasing talents through cultural events, and encouraging more physicians and allies to join.
“This infusion of new ideas and energy would broaden the spectrum of events we can locally organize,” said Dr. Khond, a primary care physician working in the South Shore area.
Dr. Khond has been practicing medicine in Massachusetts for last 20 years. Her hobbies include traveling, dancing and engaging herself in exercise activities that include hiking, and gym workouts.
