Delhi Music Composer-Singer duo makes Debut in Bollywood

NEW DELHI–Delhi boys Harish Moyal, who was also the Finalist of Indian Idol Season 1, and GeEt Vani, who was the assistant music director of Indian Idol 9, have recently marked their entry in Bollywood as Singer and Music composer respectively in the recently released bollywood movie B.A Pass 2.

Harishwas among top 10 finalists of Indian Idol 1 and has also won Big Star IMA award 2011. Harish Moyal gave his melodious voice in Bollywood movie B.A Pass 2 Song ‘Bahane zindagi ne’ composed by GeEt Vani.

Talking about his journey Moyal said “I and GeEt vani (composer) finalized this song after working very hard. We are happy with the response which we have received so far. Praises and appreciation have come from legends and stalwarts of the music industry. It is a matter of pride for us that the song has got great response from the audience as well. I started singing at 13 and this was when I decided that ‘Music is my everything’. Then Indian Idol happened and after that I got inclined towards independent music. Apart from Bollywood we are also working together to promote independent music. I feel that the young singers should get more and more opportunities both in Bollywood and independently. We want to be the bridge for all the talented upcoming musicians so that they can get the platform.”

Sharing his experience about the song, GeEt Bani shared said  “This song is very close to my heart and Harish has beautifully sung this song. The amount of appreciation which we have received for this song is beyond our expectations. We have received many offers after the release of this song. We are working hard to create music which connects with the audience. Also, Independent music is always on our list of priorities.”

Moyal has performed in number of TV shows, Music albums and over 2000 live shows All over the world. He got his due place and recognition in industry by being a winner of various national level singing competitions, he started singing at a very young age of 13 and with his passion for music and soulful voice.

His sufi album ‘Mere Saiyaan’ released by Reliance Big Digital and Filmy Box got him great reviews and even won him the best Singer award in sufi category at the IMA awards. His talent has taken him all the world performing extensively International Concerts in Winner of Indian Music Award (IMA 2011) in the Best Sufi Song category, INDIAN IDOL “Season one Top Finalist, Harish Moyal has performed in all over the world and wishing to create a platform for upcoming young talent.

GeEt Vani hails from a musical family. His dreams got him to the dream city. His talent got noticed very fast and he was the assistant music director for Indian Idol season 9. He has performed extensively in India and abroad. His dedication got him an opportunity to compose a song ‘Bahane zindagi ne’ and did the entire background score for the movie B.A. Pass 2.
