FORDS, NJ– Mrs India New England Sneha Nambiar this month was crowned “Mrs India USA” at the national Indian American beauty pageant at Royal Alberts Hotel in Fords, New Jersey. She will now represent her category at the Worldwide competition in 2024 for which date and venue will be announced next year.

This was the 41st Miss India USA event, which is organized annually by Dharmatma Saran and Neelam Saran. Ms. Nambiar was crowned Mrs India New Engand last month at the New England pageant organized by Ruchika Arora.
Ms. Nambiar, a woman in technology and a trained Bharatnatyam dancer, came to US at the age of 10. Currently, she lives in Massachusetts with her husband, Vineeth.
Ms. Nambiar works as a management consultant for a Big 4 consulting firm, serving Big Pharma and life sciences clients. She would want to be a role model to other women to embrace their own uniqueness, break glass ceilings and contribute to the world with compassion and strength.
“I look forward to gaining a new community and family here in New England region and I am honored and so grateful to be serving as your Mrs. India USA and Mrs. India New England,” said Ms. Nambiar, who is guided by Nelson Mandela’s words of “The glory of life lies not in never falling, but rising every time we fall.”

Ms. Nambiar adorned a bright pink embroidered lehenga when she danced on ‘Ghar More Pardesiya’ during ‘Talent night’. For evening gown, she chose platinum sequined work; and ethnic Indian dress was pearl on white.
Overall, a remarkable performance, she is bringing Winners crown to Mrs India New England after six years. Namita Dodwadkar was the first Mrs India New England, who became first ever Mrs. India USA and then first-ever Mrs. India Worldwide.
“When I’m not doing boss lady things, I enjoy traveling the world and exploring different cuisines, watching Bollywood movies,” said Ms. Nambiar. “It is the journey we sculpt ourselves with our own aspiration and dreams. For example, winning this title would not just be chance; it would be a destiny woven with passion, purpose, and the belief that anything is possible when you believe in yourself.”

Another big victory for New England was “People’s Choice Award” to Mrs Sunita Malhotra, a resident of Andover, MA. At age 62, she impressed all judges and audience for her performance on ‘Dhoom Tana.’ Her introduction, ethnic and evening ensembles were outstanding and her performance won everyone’s heart in the grand ballroom at Royal Alberts Hotel.
Dhriti Patel became Top 5 at Miss India Teen USA and received a title of ‘Miss Teen Beautiful Smile USA’ At 15- her performance was remarkable oozing confidence in all rounds. Dhruvi Patel, who had won Miss India New England 2023, stayed a popular choice on all three days of the event and was recognized with ‘Miss India Popularity USA’ award.
