Twinkle Khanna’s third novel to be out in September

Mumbai– After “Mrs Funnybones” and “The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad”, actress-turned-author Twinkle Khanna is all set to come up with her third book “Pyjamas are Forgiving” in September.

The 43-year-old columnist, who is quite famous for her wit and sarcasm, on Monday took to Twitter to update: “Out in early September and I am going to be crossing my fingers and toes for the next few months.”

She also informed people that they can pre-order the book on Amazon and Flipkart.

Happy for his wife, actor Akshay Kumar tweeted: “The whole family was walking on eggshells when she was writing this one and I for one am so glad she is finally done.”

Twinkle had made her Bollywood debut in 1995 with “Barsaat” and her last released film as an actress was “Tees Maar Khan” (2010) in which she did a special appearance.

New Delhi– Actress Priyanka Chopra, dogged by engagement rumours with American singer Nick Jonas, says her personal life is not for the public to know and she doesn’t owe anyone an explanation.

The “Quantico” star said she doesn’t take gossip and trolls seriously unless it’s something that affects sentiments.

“My entire life, especially my personal life… Everything about me is not for public consumption. 90 per cent of my life is for public consumption, but 10 per cent of it is for me. I am a girl and I have the right to keep that to myself.

“Sometimes I laugh, sometimes I get annoyed… But mostly, I tell my publicists ‘Let it be, today’s news is tomorrow’s trash’,” Priyanka said at an event here on Monday.

The actress has been in the midst of rumours that she has got engaged to Jonas, who is 10 years younger to her. Her decision to opt out of Salman Khan’s “Bharat” added fuel to the speculation.

Priyanka, who flew in here from Singapore where she attended Jonas’s concert, said she doesn’t think she needs to “defend or explain” anything when it comes to her family, her relationships, equations with people and decisions.

“I’m not running for office, so I don’t owe anyone an explanation,” she quipped during an interactive session titled ‘Challenging the Status Quo & Forging New Paths’ organised Jointly by Ficci Ladies Organisation (FLO) and Yes Bank.

Sooraj Pancholi wraps up ‘Time To Dance’

Mumbai– Actor Sooraj Pancholi wrapped up shooting for “Time to Dance”, and says he is looking forward to the release of the dance film.

Sooraj finished shooting for “Time to Dance”, helmed by Stanley D’Costa, on Sunday in London. Remo D’Souza has written the script of the project.

“What an amazing journey it has been! And how time flew by working with such a great team … Just felt like we started shooting for ‘Time To Dance’ few days back and we have already wrapped it up,” Sooraj said in a statement to IANS.

“I’m really excited and looking forward to this one,” he added.

He also took to Instagram to share his excitement about the project.

“It’s a wrap. What a journey it’s been.. feeling so blessed! Thank you so much God, my family and to my supporters!! What an amazing team.”

The film also stars Katrina Kaif’s sister Isabelle Kaif.

She also wrote on Instagram: “Thank you everyone from cast and crew who worked endlessly to make it all possible! It was crazy and amazing! Going to miss you all.”

First schedule of ‘Bharat’ wrapped up

Mumbai– The first schedule of superstar Salman Khan starrer “Bharat” has concluded in Mumbai with two dramatic sequences done.

Director Ali Abbas Zafar tweeted on Monday: “First schedule of ‘Bharat’ completed in Mumbai, two dramatic action sequences done. Thanks you cast and crew. Here we come Malta. Get ready for Desi ‘rock n rolla’.”

The film’s cast including actress Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover and Tabu will be shooting in Malta for the next schedule.

Zafar previously worked with Salman in blockbusters like “Sultan” and “Tiger Zinda Hai”

The film is an official adaptation of a 2014 South Korean film “Ode To My Father”. It is produced by Atul Agnihotri’s Reel Life Production Pvt Ltd and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series.

“Bharat” is slated for an Eid release in 2019.

Kangana Ranaut fascinated by mysticism

Mumbai– Actor Kangana Ranaut finds mysticism fascinating, and is looking forward to an interaction with yogi and mystic Sadhguru.

The interaction will take place here on Wednesday.

“Sadhguru is the most intriguing intellect that I have encountered. Mysticism isn’t a doorway to just exuberance and peace. I truly believe that if we as humanity could tap into the dimensions beyond the physical, we can transform the world. It’s a small step to wrap our little heads around the vastness of that world,” the “Queen” star said here.

Kangana said she has always been fascinated by mysticism, and is intrigued by Sadhguru’s book “Inner Engineering”.

She also said Swami Vivekananda’s practical and scientific approach to things has impacted her deeply.

On the work front, Kangana will star in “Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi”, a biopic on the Rani of Jhansi, and in comic thriller “Mental Hai Kya”.

Sunny Leone shares key to good chemistry in relationship

New Delhi– Actress Sunny Leone says the ability to be good friends at first is the key to a sparkling chemistry in a relationship.

On how to achieve good chemistry in a relationship, Sunny told IANS over email from Los Angeles: “It is honesty and the ability to be friends first.”

The actress, who is married to Daniel Weber, will be seen hosting the 11th season of “Splitsvilla”, with the theme ‘Emotions vs Science’ on MTV.

“I love that I have been working on this show for the past five years. It’s a time I look forward to every year because it’s so much fun… This year I believe we have a great looking bunch of contestants and they are all very talented and outgoing. They are so entertaining,” she said.

Sunny will be seen co-hosting the show with Rannvijay Singha, who she calls her “Rakhi brother”.

“We have so much fun together laughing. I love his family and this year was especially tough for me because I got very ill during shooting and he helped me out so much, keeping an eye on my children as I was hospitalised for a night. They really love being around him and he is a great ‘little big brother’,” she said. (IANS)
