Sunny says it would be interesting if he, Vicky don’t play brothers in movie

Mumbai– Actor Sunny Kaushal has revealed what kind of film he would like to be in with his brother Vicky Kaushal.

Recently, at an event, Sunny Kaushal spoke about the same and said how he would want to be more than just a brother to Vicky if they worked together.

Sunny said: “It will be interesting if we are not playing brothers in the movie, but some different characters. It would be fun to do action. Since dad is an action director, we want to explore that and we feel we will be able to excel in it.”

On the work front, Sunny will be seen in ‘Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba’, ‘Letters To Mr Khanna’ and ‘Shiddat 2’.

Sanjay Dutt performs ‘pind daan’ for parents in Gaya

Patna– Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt on Thursday performed the ‘pind daan’ for his father Sunil Dutt and mother Nargis Dutt in Gaya for peace to their souls.

Arriving on a special charter flight, Sanjay, dressed in a white kurta-pyjama, went to the Moksha Dham Vishnupad temple, located on the bank of Falgu river, for the ceremony.

After hearing his arrival, a large number of his fans assembled outside the Vishnupad temple to see their favorite star.

Sunil Dutt died on May 25, 2005 and actress Nargis Dutt died on May 3,1981.

Yami: Got to do something different which I’d been longing to do as an actor with ‘Uri’

Mumbai– As the blockbuster film ‘URI: The Surgical Strike’ completes five years of its release on Thursday, Yami Gautam said that she got to do something different in the film that had been longing to do as an actor.

Yami expressed: “It’s been five years of URI, and I must say it’s undeniably a very special film for me.”

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film was fictionally dramatised account of the true event of the retaliation to the 2016 Uri attack, starring Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam and Paresh Rawal.

Yami said: “URI was our modern-day cinematic version of the living legend, our Indian Army. Everyone who was associated with this film, we all look back to the time of its release and cherish the thunderous response we received from every corner of the world.

“To be part of URI, a story that celebrates the bravery of our Indian army and the nation’s spirit, was an honour for me. It was a film where I got to do something different which I’d been longing to do as an actor.”

Yami Gautam, who portrayed the character of Pallavi Sharma in the film, added: “The film was the result of the hard work of every department, which worked day and night to deliver a one-of-a-kind cinematic experience to the audiences.”

“Forever grateful to Aditya for making it all happen and leading the film with unmatched passion and sincerity. Pallavi Sharma is and will always hold a special place in my heart.”

Aamir Khan sheds a tear as Ira and Nupur are pronounced husband and wife

Mumbai– Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan was seen getting emotional at the social wedding of his daughter Ira Khan with fitness expert Nupur Shikhare.

The wedding which took place on the night of January 10 in Udaipur followed Christian traditions. It was officiated by Ira’s cousin, Zayn Marie Khan. The couple sealed it with a kiss after being pronounced man and wife.

Aamir Khan was overwhelmed as he shed tears of joy during the ceremony.

The guest list included Tamil actor and producer Vishnu Vishal and his wife and Badminton player Jwala Gutta. Sharing pictures from the festivities on his Instagram, Vishnu Vishal wrote: “God bless the newly weds.”

Recently, Aamir Khan and Vishnu Vishal were rescued by boat together in cyclone-hit Chennai. Aamir Khan reportedly shifted his base to Chennai for the treatment of his mother. Jwala shared an album, which has pictures of her with Aamir Khan, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare, Aamir Khan’s ex-wife and filmmaker Kiran Rao, and the actor’s son Junaid Khan.

Nupur Shikhare and Ira Khan got engaged in September 2022. Nupur proposed to Ira at the Ironman Italy, where he participated. The couple made it official on January 3. They signed the marriage registration document in the presence of friends and family at the Taj Lands End in the Bandra area of Mumbai.

They will host the reception for the industry at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre on January 13. The who’s who of Bollywood including superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are expected to attend the reception.

Vaani Kapoor: Have always been a big fan of Ajay Devgn’s work

Mumbai– Actress Vaani Kapoor, who is starring opposite Ajay Devgn in the recently announced ‘Raid 2’, is thrilled to share screen space with the star and said that she is a big fan of his work.

Vaani said: “For actors, there is always a bucket list of people that one wants to creatively collaborate with. I have always been a big fan of Ajay Devgn’s work. He is a sheer force of nature on camera, and I have too many of his films that I love.”

“So, it is an honour to share the screen with Ajay sir, who is considered as one of the all-time best actors of our country.”

She went on: “I think working with him, observing him on the sets will only help better my experience as an artist. Raid is one of the most engrossing relevant films and Ajay sir in it was just swashbuckling!”

Vaani cannot control her excitement.

“So, I really cannot contain my excitement that I’m a part of his massive franchise that will surely entertain people worldwide again.”

The film has gone on the floor on January 6 in Mumbai and brings together director Rajkumar Gupta and producers Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar.

The film is scheduled to be shot extensively in Mumbai, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.

‘Raid 2’ is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar. The film is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series and is a Panorama Studios production. The film will be released theatrically on November 15, 2024. (IANS)
