Sonam Kapoor Gushes Over Son Vayu’s Birthday: ‘Mama Loves You to the Moon and Back’
MUMBAI — Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor turned full-on doting mom as her little boy Vayu celebrated his third birthday.
The actress flooded Instagram with sweet snaps — one of her playing with Vayu and another of the two snuggled up on the couch. “Happy Birthday my baby boy… Mama loves you to the moon and back and again,” she wrote, calling him curious, kind, and thoughtful.
Grandpa Anil Kapoor couldn’t hold back either. The veteran actor shared family photos and a gushy note: “From the moment you came into our lives, you’ve filled every heart with joy and love… Watching everyone come together around you fills me with pride.”
Sonam, who married businessman Anand Ahuja in 2018, welcomed Vayu in August 2022. Now, three years later, the little guy clearly has the entire Kapoor clan wrapped around his tiny fingers.
Shilpa Shetty Crowns Hubby Raj Kundra Bollywood’s New ‘Hero’
MUMBAI — Shilpa Shetty just rolled out the red carpet for her husband Raj Kundra, who’s about to make his big-screen debut in the Punjabi drama Mehar.

The actress gushed on Instagram: “Wohooo!! Punjabi films have got a new HERO in town, but he’s been MY HERO for many years. Welcome to the movies @onlyrajkundra.”
Kundra, who plays a Sikh man named Karamjeet Singh, said donning a turban for the role was a life-changing experience, one that connected him deeply with Sikh tradition. “The weight of that dastaar came with responsibility and pride,” he shared, revealing he now keeps his head covered out of respect for Sikhi.
The film, directed by Rakesh Mehta and co-starring Geeta Basra, hits theaters worldwide September 5. Shilpa, meanwhile, made it clear she’ll be cheering the loudest: “Picture abhi baaki hai, doston!”
Rashmika Mandanna Can’t Stop Smiling: Perfume Launch, Parade Glam, and a Vampire Love Story
MUMBAI — Rashmika Mandanna is on cloud nine — and she’s got plenty of reasons. The actress says her heart is doing a “happy dance” after a whirlwind week that saw the launch

of her perfume line Dear Diary, a star turn at New York’s India Day Parade, and the drop of her new film teaser Thama.
The Pushpa star shared goofy selfies online, gushing: “Sooo many things happening at once… Dear Diary launch, then the FIA parade, and now the Thama teaser out in the world! Sometimes I just sit back and go like, ‘Rushie, breathe… take this in.’ Gratitude is the word.”
At the parade, Rashmika and co-star Vijay Deverakonda played grand marshals, soaking up the cheers of fans. And in Thama, a romantic horror-comedy with Ayushmann Khurrana, she teases a love story with a bite — literally. The spooky clip hints at vampires, eternal love, and plenty of chills, with Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui rounding out the cast.
The film hits theaters this Diwali. Until then, Rashmika’s clearly savoring her winning streak — perfume, parades, and paranormal romance included.
Aryan Khan Fumbles First Speech — Then Drops Mic With Bold Twist
MUMBAI — Aryan Khan may have inherited his dad’s star power, but nerves got the best of him at the first preview of his directorial debut The Ba**ds of Bollywood*.

Facing the press at YRF Studios, Shah Rukh Khan’s son admitted he was terrified: “I’ve been practicing nonstop! I even kept a paper, a torch, and my dad with a printout on his back—just in case.”
Despite the prep, Aryan still tripped over his lines, cheekily blaming the teleprompter before flipping the script: “Now, I won’t say anything. Instead, I’ll let my work speak.”
SRK stole the spotlight too, introducing the star-studded cast — Bobby Deol, Mona Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Raghav Juyal, and more — with his trademark charm.
The edgy Netflix series, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and co-created by Aryan, drops September 18. Proud papa SRK summed it up best: “It’s storytelling that’s sharp, bold, and self-aware.”
Big B’s Juhu Mansions Swamped as Mumbai Goes Underwater
MUMBAI — Even Bollywood royalty can’t escape Mumbai’s monsoon misery. Amitabh Bachchan’s plush Juhu bungalows — Jalsa and Pratiksha — were left drowning in knee-deep

floodwaters after the city was battered by nearly 300 mm of rain in 24 hours.
Viral clips show waterlogged lanes outside Jalsa, with guards scrambling to shut the gates as bystanders filmed. Some even claimed Big B himself was spotted sweeping away water with a wiper, though that remains unverified.
The deluge hasn’t spared anyone — trains are halted, over 250 flights delayed, and schools closed for a third day. But seeing Mumbai’s most iconic celebrity home under water drives home just how fragile the city’s infrastructure remains.
Vaani Kapoor Says Local Stories Are the Key to Global Hits
MUMBAI — Vaani Kapoor is riding high after her streaming debut Mandala Murders trended

worldwide for three weeks — and she’s crediting the show’s success to its desi roots.
“The more content is local, the more global it will become,” the actress said, calling the response to the mythological-crime thriller “overwhelming” and “incredibly surreal.”
Vaani added that India’s rich storytelling tradition is what makes audiences abroad connect so deeply: “Our rootedness is what sparks curiosity about our culture and identity.”
Mandala Murders, from filmmaker Gopi Puthran (Mardaani), co-stars Surveen Chawla, Shriya Pilgaonkar, and Vaibhav Raj Gupta. It marks the second Netflix-YRF team-up after last year’s The Railway Men.
Anupam Kher Slams ‘Reckless’ Mountain Construction After Deadly Cloudbursts

construction in fragile hill regions is fueling nature’s fury.
Posting a video on Instagram, Kher mourned the lives lost and homes washed away, warning: “If you mess with Mother Earth, she will answer back.”
He urged authorities and locals to stop building hotels and houses recklessly in the mountains, calling the repeated disasters “a warning we have to understand.”
Offering condolences, Kher added: “My heart goes out to families who lost loved ones, homes, animals, and livelihoods. We have to stop somewhere.” (Source: IANS)
