Mumbai– Rhea Kapoor is the biggest cheerleader for her sister Sonam Kapoor.
She never misses an opportunity to express her affection for the actress. On Wednesday, Rhea took to her Instagram to share her heartfelt pride and joy as Sonam was named the global ambassador for a renowned fashion house. The producer penned an emotional post, reflecting on Sonam’s remarkable journey in the fashion world. Alongside stylish images of Sonam, Rhea wrote, “I’m so proud of my sister and her immense impact on taking Indian fashion global with her love for fashion, passion for the people who work in the industry, and her respect for every aspect of it.”
She added, “Fashion is supposed to be fun and a tool to express yourself while encouraging others to do the same, and no one embodies that with as much brave joie de vivre as @sonamkapoor, from Mumbai to Paris.” In the photos, Sonam is seen wearing two stunning black outfits. Anil Kapoor also shared a sweet note for his daughter Sonam. Today, the iconic French luxury house Dior announced Sonam Kapoor as their ambassador. On the work front, last month, Sonam revealed her next project, Battle for Bittora, which is based on Anuja Chauhan’s 2010 novel of the same name. Reports indicate that Rhea Kapoor acquired the film rights to the book, and the project will be produced under the Anil Kapoor Films Company banner.
The forthcoming film narrates the story of an animation expert who unexpectedly finds herself competing against a former royal in the elections for Bittora. While attending the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, the ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ actress expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming film adaptation of ‘Battle for Bittora’. Kapoor described her character as beloved and noted that the younger generation might not be as familiar with her, which she views as a unique advantage for the film’s appeal.
Aamir Khan most likely to be a part of Rajinikanth’s film
Mumbai– Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan will reportedly be entering filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj’s universe with his next film and most likely be a part of superstar Rajinikanth’s movie.
A source revealed: “Aamir Khan will be entering Lokesh Kanagaraj’s universe with his next film. These two giants of the entertainment industry are coming together is going to be the next big thing to watch out for.”
“Aamir Khan is most likely to be a part of Rajinikanth’s film,” added the source.
This would be the second time the two stars will be seen working together. The duo had previously worked in the 1995 film “Aatank Hi Aatank”, which was inspired by the 1972 film “The Godfather.”
Kanagaraj is known for films such as “Leo”, “Vikram”, “Kaithi” and “Master”.
Moreover, with Aamir Khan’s exciting lineup, including Sitaare Zameen Par, this collaboration adds another thrilling dimension to the superstar’s career.
Aamir will next be seen in “Sitaare Zameen Par”, which also reportedly stars Genelia Deshmukh and Darsheel Safary, who worked with the superstar in the 2007 film “Taare Zameen Par.”
“Sitaare Zameen Par”, which is a remake of the Spanish movie “Champions”, is directed by R.S. Prasanna.
The filmmaker made his debut in 2013 with a rather unconventional Tamil romantic comedy “Kalyana Samayal Saadham”, a story about a man suffering from erectile dysfunction.
Talking about “Taare Zameen Par”, it also stars Tanay Chheda, Vipin Sharma and Tisca Chopra. It explored the life and imagination of Ishaan, an artistically gifted 8-year-old boy whose poor academic performance leads his parents to send him to a boarding school, where a new art teacher Nikumbh suspects that he is dyslexic and helps him to overcome his reading disorder.
Aamir was last seen in 2022 with “Laal Singh Chaddha”, a comedy drama directed by Advait Chandan. It is a remake of the 1994 American film “Forrest Gump”, starring Tom Hanks. The film itself is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Winston Groom.
The film stars Aamir as the titular role alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh.
Alia Bhatt shares cherished memories with ‘saasu ma’ Neetu Kapoor

The actress arrived at the party with her sister, Shaheen Bhatt, who wore a turquoise-green anarkali kurta set. Interestingly, this is not the first time Alia has repeated an outfit. Last year, she wore her wedding saree, designed by Sabyasachi, again at the National Film Awards 2023. On the work front, the 31-year-old actress was last seen in Vasan Bala’s film ‘Jigra’, which also starred Vedang Raina and Manoj Pahwa. Kajol jokes she trained hubby Ajay Devgn for ‘Singham’
Mumbai– Bollywood actress Kajol, who is gearing up for the release of her upcoming streaming movie ‘Do Patti’, has shared that she imparted the training to her husband, Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn to portray his iconic character of ‘Bajirao Singham’.
Kajol is set to grace the upcoming episode of the streaming sketch comedy show ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ along with her co-star Kriti Sanon and Shaheer Sheikh ahead of their film’s release.
During the course of the episode the cast had a gala time with Kapil and his fellow artists on the sets. Makers on Wednesday shared a clip from the show which shows Kapil asking Kajol if she took any tips from Ajay since she is playing a cop for the first time in her career in ‘Do Patti’. To this, Kajol replied by saying, “No, because I’m the one who trained him for ‘Singham’” as she burst into laughter.
Elsewhere in the episode, Kriti asked her senior actress if there’s any truth to the legend of films becoming successes if Kajol fell on the sets. When Kajol nodded, Kriti told her to have informed her as that would have sealed the deal for the film’s success.
Kajol and Kriti have earlier worked together in ‘Dilwale’ which also starred Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan and Varun Dhawan.
‘Do Patti’ also marks Kriti’s debut as a producer. The National Award-winning actress will be seen in dual roles in the thriller which is written by Kanika Dhillon of ‘Manmarziyaan’ fame.
The film is set to drop on OTT giant Netflix, the same platform which houses ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’.
Meanwhile, Kapil’s show also stars Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Rajiv Thakur and Archana Puran Singh. Season 2 promises to celebrate India and its rich culture with the superstars of the country.
Shraddha Kapoor pulls off a prank in Shah Rukh Khan’s name
Mumbai– Actress Shraddha Kapoor hilariously pranked shutterbugs to avoid getting clicked and used Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s name as bait.
A video of Shraddha walking out of designer Manish Malhotra’s Diwali party along with Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha. The two were surrounded by a sea of paparazzis, who wanted to capture a glimpse of Shraddha.
The actress hilariously is heard taking Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s name loudly to distract the shutterbugs so that she could run to the car.
Shraddha is heard saying: “Aree wo dekho Shah Rukh Khan. Shah Rukh Khan.”
The “Stree” star in a hurry gets into the wrong car with Rasha. However, the paparazzis are quick to take note and inform her about the funny error.
Shraddha recently attended NDTV World Summit held at New Delhi and spoke on multiple topics including her father’s struggles, her choice of films, seven course meal and a secret.
At the summit, Shraddha took up questions from the audience and had some fun conversation with them.
The actress was asked: “Aapke bhi Aadhaar Card mein waisi wali photo hai” (Does your Aadhaar Card have a bad pic of yours).
Shraddha humorously answered: “Main nahin dikha sakti Aadhaar Card wali photo”(I can’t show my Aadhaar Card photo).”
Shraddha Kapoor is famous actor Shakti Kapoor’s daughter. She made her debut with ‘Teen Patti’ in 2010. Her first hit was ‘Aashqui-2’. Later she had many career fluctuations but she continued to deliver hits after every short duration.
In the last few years she has delivered hits like ‘Stree’, ‘Stree-2’ and ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar’. Shraddha recently admitted to being in a relationship and said that she likes spending time with her partner.

Mrunal Thakur goes ‘Bad’ in morning monochrome pictures
Mumbai– Actress Mrunal Thakur turned “baddie” as she showcased her love for King Of Pop Michael Jackson in her latest monochrome pictures.
Mrunal took to Instagram, where she shared a string of pictures of herself but in black and white. The images had the actress flaunting long barrel curls and long eyelashes. She was seen dressed in a black shirt paired with denims.
The pictures had the song “Bad” by Michael Jackson playing in the background. The track is the seventh studio album by Jackson. It was released in 1987.
For the caption, Mrunal wrote: “BAD – MICHAEL JACKSON 2:06 kinda morning!”
The 32-year-old actress was recently in Uttarakhand to shoot for a romantic film with Sidhant Chaturvedi.
She even shared a video of herself playing with puppies and kittens on the sets. The actress used the song “Nadaan Parindey” by A. R. Rahman and Mohit Chauhan from the 2011 film “Rockstar” starring Ranbir Kapoor.
