Mumbai– As Boxing Day approaches, actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra shared her expert tips for making the most of the post-Christmas shopping frenzy.
On Thursday, the actress took to her Instagram account to share a video of herself, accompanied by a caption that reads, “Boxing Day is calling, and so is @bicestervillage. Every London trip means a must-visit here. Sharing some of my insider tips to help you make the most of it. Tis the season… Ready to shop, savor, and sparkle? Let’s do this!”
In the clip, the ‘Dhadkan’ actress could be heard saying, “I have just one question to ask you, are you ready for Boxing Day? I’m going to share amazing tips on how to master the art of shopping… this is the season to be shopping.”
Shilpa then demonstrates how to shop for Boxing Day.
For those unfamiliar, Boxing Day, celebrated on December 26th, falls the day after Christmas and marks the second day of Christmas. Historically, it was a day dedicated to giving gifts to the less fortunate, but over time, it has transformed into a major part of the Christmas season, with many people taking advantage of post-Christmas sales.
Originating in the United Kingdom, Boxing Day is now observed in several Commonwealth countries. While it traditionally coincides with Saint Stephen’s Day, the public holiday associated with Boxing Day may be observed on December 27th or 28th, ensuring it falls on a weekday.
Meanwhile, Shilpa has been making headlines due to her husband Raj Kundra’s ongoing legal troubles as he faces serious charges related to the production and distribution of pornographic content.
The Mumbai Police initiated an investigation following a complaint regarding the upload of pornographic videos on certain mobile platforms. Raj Kundra and his associates were accused of operating an app named “HotShots,” which allegedly hosted explicit content produced by his company.
Sonu Sood says ‘Hitman’ song is for ‘Delhiwaalas’ to own
Mumbai– Actor Sonu Sood, who is awaiting the release of his directorial debut, ‘Fateh’, has said that the song ‘Hitman’ from the film is a gift to the people of Delhi. He said that the song is for all Delhi people to own.
The actor visited the national capital with rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh for the promotions of the song and the movie.
He said, “Two Punjabi boys, one epic song, and a city that knows how to party — it couldn’t get better than this. Bringing Hitman to Delhi felt like bringing it home. This city’s energy and its love for music are unparalleled. Honey and I wanted to give Delhiwaalas a track they could own, and seeing them groove, cheer, and celebrate with us was just incredible. This is just the beginning, the party’s only going to get bigger”.
The dynamic duo brought their signature swagger and Punjabi power to a grand event at PVR Plaza, Connaught Place turning the city into a whirlwind of beats and bass.
Sonu and Honey arrived in style like two kings of the party kingdom. After the showcase of the song, Sood and Singh floored the press with their candour, insights, and humour.
Honey Singh said, “I want to thank my fans for loving Hitman and making it an instant hit! Vibing on it with the people of Delhi along with Sonu sir is the perfect way celebrate 2024, nearing its end. Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ fans irked with her hubby Nick Jonas over endorsement of Elon Musk
Mumbai– Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ fans seem to be miffed with her husband, singer-songwriter Nick Jonas after his recent tweet to billionaire Elon Musk.
A few days ago, Tesla head-honcho Elon Musk, who is also the richest man in the world, reacted to a Tesla Owners Silicon Valley’s X post which stated that the company’s profit increased in light of Donald Trump winning the US Presidential elections of 2024.
Elon re-shared the tweet with the popular Jonas Brothers meme in which Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas were rotating a table when Joe Jonas entered. Elon wrote, “My, how the tables have turned”.
Responding to the same, Nick shared an image of Elon Musk pointing his finger and also wrote, “Take us to the year 3000”. The tweet went viral in no time and registered 27.1 million views. However, this irked the fans of Nick Jonas and Priyanka, who interpreted this tweet as Nick endorsing Elon Musk.
One user on X, formerly Twitter, wrote, “Is this a trump post?! @priyankachopra get your man.” Another commented, “Priyanka get your man under control PLEASE”.
Later Nick shared a picture with Priyanka Chopra from their Christmas celebrations on X. The backlash to Nick ‘endorsing Elon’ continued even there. One of the comments read, “Priyanka please take the phone from this man before its too late (sic)”. Another commented, “Priyanka…girl, run”.
Priyanka and Nick tied the knot on December 1 and 2, 2018 as per Christian and Hindu traditions at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. They hosted two wedding receptions, one in Delhi and another in Mumbai. They welcomed their daughter through surrogacy in January 2022.
Earlier this year, the actress celebrated a working birthday on the sets of her upcoming project ‘The Bluff’. Nick, who couldn’t be with the actress in person, made sure that his wife had a great time by setting up a dosa truck on the film set, offering plain, masala, Mysore masala, onion and cheese dosas.
Nick visited India in January this year with his brothers Joe and Kevin to perform at the 2nd edition of the multi-genre music festival Lollapalooza India.

Mumbai– Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan recently turned into a proud cheerleader for her son Jeh as he took the stage for a performance at his school event. The actress was beaming with joy as she cheered enthusiastically for her little one.
On Thursday, a Reddit user shared a heartwarming video of Kareena showing her excitement while watching Jeh perform. The clip captured her pure pride and joy as Jeh, dressed in an adorable elephant costume, danced on stage. Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan, holding their older son Taimur, was seen capturing the precious moment on his phone.

Anushka Sharma lauds the legacy of Ravichandran Ashwin
Mumbai– Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, who has been on an acting sabbatical owing to her motherhood duties, has lauded cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin after he announced his retirement from international cricket.
The actress took to the Stories section of her Instagram, and shared a video from BCCI, and wrote, “A lasting legacy”.
Ravichandran Ashwin was one the formidable forces of the Indian squad during his tenure in international cricket, and is considered to be one of the greatest spinners of all time. He was a part of the 2011 ODI World Cup winning squad and also the 2013 Champions Trophy, where in the 2013 final, he bowled the final over which led to India’s win.
Ravichandran Ashwin also contributed to Indian cricket with his bat as he gave a strong support in the batting department in the lower order.
Ashwin also played the 2nd pink ball test in the ongoing BGT. He was kept out of the team in the 3rd test of the series where India struggled in the 1st innings. However, as the managed to salvage the match following the rain delay, and the match was drawn, Ashwin announced his retirement from international cricket, and left for India the same day he made the announcement.
With this move, he contradicted skipper Rohit Sharma, who said that the legendary spinner would leave a day after announcing his retirement.
Ashwin has taken more than 700 wickets in international cricket and more than 500 wickets in Tests, placing him amongst the top ten wicket takers in Tests. He has scored more than 4000 runs in international cricket with 6 centuries and 14 half-centuries in Tests.
He stands next to India’s legendary spinner Anil Kumble. With Ashwin’s departure, team India now has Ravindra Jadeja as a bankable player in that position and the spin department. The 2 upcoming matches will decide the fate of team India and its qualification for WTC.

Mumbai– Bollywood star Alia Bhatt, who was last seen in the theatrical movie ‘Jigra’, has shared her December photo dump.
On Thursday, the actress took to her Instagram, and shared an array of pictures in which she can be seen having a great time. One of the pictures also shows her husband, Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor wearing a T-shirt with their daughter Raha’s name.

Earlier, the actress was spotted at the Versova jetty in Mumbai, as she got down from the boat and took an autorickshaw. She was seen wearing an oversized striped shirt and a pair of wenge coloured pants.
Of late, many celebrities are opting for jetty rides from Versova to shooting spots in the Madh Island area of Mumbai as it saves time compared to the road ride of almost 90 minutes. Other actors like the Kannada superstar Yash, and Kiara Advani were also seen taking the jetty in order to reach the shooting spots.
Alia kickstarted the month of December by installing a Christmas tree at her home. The actress took to the Stories of her Instagram and shared a video which showed the Christmas tree.
The Christmas tree was adorned with ornaments bearing the names of her family, husband Ranbir Kapoor and their daughter Raha, who turned 2 years old last month.
She wrote on the video, “And it’s up”.
December is a special month for Alia and Ranbir as they also participate in the customary Christmas celebrations of the Kapoor family which takes place at Kunal Kapoor’s (the elder son of late actors Shashi Kapoor and Jennifer Kendal) house. The entire Kapoor family gathers at Kunal’s home for the celebrations.
